I just saw that Iran's currency fell to an all-time low when Trump won, and I'm thinking China and Russia can't feel too good about the election, either.
Who thinks China will attack Taiwan (or, God forbid, the U.S.) before Trump actually takes office? It would be an act of desperation, but with my limited understanding, I can't rule it out.
I think that they will wait, hoping that they can pressure Trump to do what they want (as in not engage in a trade war), or that he may signal that they can take Taiwan without his interference.
I think that Trump will put tariffs on Chinese goods, which is proper, but this could push the CCP over the edge.
On another good note, I have read somewhat about Trump's choice as his Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, and I have been very impressed by her track record. She should be very good at the job.
