Re: Great Persons According to their Generational Archetype

Just for fun, I was wondering if it would be possible to start classifying pairs of great historical people into the 4 generational archetypes determined by their proximity to their most influential crisis war. Why? I am curious to see if certain leadership characteristics will come forward. e.g. W...

Re: Greetings!

Hi my name is Justin and I am new to the forum! I've actually been following the generational dynamics website for about three years now, but I only recently decided to join the forum. I first got interested in generational dynamics when I read Generations by Howe and Strauss 6 years ago and the Fo...

Re: A different perspective

"It is impossible for man to learn what he thinks he already knows". ---- Epictetus The following has implications for,-- science, technology, philosophy, government, religion,-- in short just about every thing that relates to humanity and its perception of it's self and of the larger environment. ...

Re: What if?

I have a question: if the majority of people had realized in, say, 2004-2005 that there was a bubble, is there anything that could have been done? Granted, nothing could prevent a collapse, but looking back, is there anything that could have been done to soften the blow and make the depression less...

Re: Obama - Fair Policy Observation - or Racisist ???

Why is it that anything having to do with Obama and we automatically bring in the R word. This is from both sides! If we criticize our president (a right granted to us by the founding fathers) then we are racist. If the president does something good for the poor everyone says he is racist because he...

Re: Liberty's Demise? National Defense Authorization Act

Liberty was on the decline well before the National Defense Authorization Act. Liberty began to decline when we stopped allowing others the right to voice their own opinions and we try to stuff our opinions down their throats. No, the National Defense Act is just another nail in the coffin but not t...

Re: ER Wait times

It's actually sad to say regardless of the outbreak we experience our ERs can't handle the pressure. Besides the fact that we are not adequately trained to handle such emergencies; there aren't enough doctors anymore to handle it. We are seeing a huge decline in the Medical school enrollment numbers...

Re: 1-Aug-12 World View-China tests missile in Tibet, near I

Yep, everything's already set up for a major war. All we need now is a trigger. However, I will point out something. I don't think that the Middle East going up in flames will necessarily spread everywhere else. It'll certainly be damaging and cost a lot of lives, but I don't think it'll be a world...

Re: Climate Change

The story goes that when the Muslims were approaching the center of Constantinople in 1453 for the final conquest of the Byzantine Empire, the people of the Senate were having a lengthy political debate about whether angels were male or female. They were still arguing when the Ottomans reached them...

Re: Horrific New Torture Pictures Released

To Obama and everybody else - "Assume you're going to be outed and act accordingly." The only way something can be completely covered up is either if everyone who knows about it or could possibly know about it approves of it, or if there is nobody left to tell the tale, which in the last analysis m...
