Re: Economic centralization

I have started to view each crisis war as a "test" for adaptation. I think a part of that is understanding the other culture before you "beat" them. Sometimes they are completely defeated and they go away (dissolved) but if they don't loose poorly enough they learn from their mistakes and regrow ane...

Re: Identity

Anybody else feel like information theory is still pretty vastly understood? You would think for something as cataclysmic-ally important it is, honestly for the future of our society, we would have a better grasp at this point but even distinguished professionals give indications that they are missi...

Re: Identity

So far as I can tell there are only two "realms" or "realities" that we as humans inhibit: the internal and the external. Re: Identity

Not only do choices shape our identity, identity is a choice itself. We can choose how we define ourselves and who we associate with. Take for instance the quintessential "American immigrant". They make an active choice to leave their past behind in hope for the future.

Re: Black Power

Holy shit this problem is worse than I thought. I remember a few years back searching for information about absentee black father rates and the information was really straight forward and easy to find. Just performed "black absentee fathers statistics" on duck duck go here are the results: 1. "Fathe...

Re: Identity

Probably more of what people have already said and more along the lines of fiction but I'll post so I can criticize later: So far as I can tell there are only two "realms" or "realities" that we as humans inhibit: the internal and the external. The internal is the "realm of the mind" and the externa...
