Re: Clash of Civilizations

When reading on the Generational Dynamics web site and seeing the discussion, it was mentioned that the September 11th attacks could have led to a third world war and the Clash of Civilizations. My question is: why didn't it? The event seems to have mostly fizzled out, and I can't see the attack, h...

Re: How long?

I believe that every country will eventually need a bailout and yet when it comes time for us to be bailed out no one will be there. It is no different from world tragedies where we are there to pick up the pieces and yet when we have a tragedy we are walking on our own.

Re: Banking and the 1%

Most people have a quaint notion that banking works something like this: Joe Customer goes down to the bank to deposit his hard earned money into a savings account, which pays him a return based on an interest rate. The bank then loans that money out at a higher interest rate and profits from the d...

Hello everyone my name is Evan and I live int he USA. I was born in 85 and I have been following this website for a while now because I want to know what is going on in the world. Re: Before the Lynch Mob Comes For The Last Good Man (Intro.

It is refreshing to see someone at your age acknowledging that it was the parent's fault (my generation actually) in part for the way your generation, and of course the next offshore merchant account , turned out. Had we taken more time to be involved, less time trying to avoid turning out like our ...

Thanks very much for the compliment, CrosstimbersOkie. I had to be on a quest to reverse the raw-wombat–eating rep of Generation-X, you kindly understand 8-) Thanks again!! —Best regards/Peace, Marc Thankfully not all of Generation X deserves the reputation that has been give us, yes us as I am a m...

Re: Older Generation - Still Believes in Punishment

I am grateful for the Silent Generation when it comes to crime and punishment! I am often told I was born at the wrong time and am old fashioned in most of my beliefs but I love that there are still people out there who demand swift justice that does not involve coddling the criminal. To many people...

Re: A Doctor on why she quit the emergency room.

That article left me with only one word in my mind...WOW. I often wondered about the doctors who so selflessly gave themselves to the emergency room. Having been a patient in the ER (in this day and age who hasn't?) I know how stressful and demanding it can be but I never even gave thought to the on...

Re: Lone Gunman - Packed Theater - No One Interupts Shooting

I think that you are a bit hard on the victims in suggesting that they are partly at fault by not stopping the gunman. As more news has come out we realize the Hero generation really was at work in that theater with many giving their lives for others; giving a whole new respect for the saying "I'd t...
