Re: Financial topics

I think Bitcoin is near its rebound high and now will start its next big move, which will be to zero. The next move will be towards zero, and I will welcome it. You all are missing out because of your insolence and ignorance; it will be the best asset for the NEXT 10 years, AGAIN. I joined this web...

Re: Financial topics

If it is too uncertain why is it the best asset class over the last 10 years? There are some things that we have to rely on, which are factual. If you don't like it, or think it can go to zero, just say that. But if you're looking to "grow your capital" and you're not in BTC, you're just doing it w...

Re: Financial topics

Hi everyone, The BRICS summit is on 15th August and speculation is growing on a Brics currency that is partially backed by gold. This could lead to speculation on gold and currencies, and for that matter on crypto. What views? Even though I think darker days are coming for the US (and its citizens)...

Re: Financial topics

Here's an interesting view originally published at Gainesville Coins. Rumors are making rounds that Saudi Arabia is selling oil for yuan, which it converts into gold on the Shanghai International Gold Exchange (SGEI). Such a development would make sense as large parts of the world want to de-dollari...

Re: Financial topics

Things are unraveling as we speak. The news items talking about USD losing reserve status is also either predictive programming, or "told you so" news. I am not clear on what you are saying about USD? Two years ago the value of USD against a basket of glogal currencies was 90 (approx) and on Friday...

Re: Financial topics

I had never heard of Jerome Powell before he took his current position back in '18. Most seem to believe he is as anxious to get back to easy money as they are. I can only hope he has gone along with things as they were for so long because he thought the economy could take one more for the team. Pl...

About $17 billion in CS bonds owned by investors have been wiped out. The future of CS First Boston is uncertain. Not good eco...

Re: Financial topics

The Fed is hiking because inflation is still low, right John? Cassandra, lol Yes, I'm trolling you here a bit because when you nail the economic climate like I have and don't get any credit for it (me), it's pretty lame on a predictive site. And yes, BTC will go to new ATHs within a year or two. Th...

Re: Financial topics

Vince,
With respect to your recent post I am seeing a current 2023 S&P 500 chart similarity to the 2000 to 2003 bear market

There was a failed break in April of 2002 and then the index dropped another 27%

This observation may or may not be valid. Lets see
