98 million not including 20 million federal crime illegal border fugitives cost sink.

The manner in which the press is united in shouting at Donald Trump for claiming that there are 96 million Americans who are unemployed. The thing is though he's right at one level. There really are 96 million Americans without a job.
I entirely agree that this isn't what we normally mean by https://www.forbes.com/sites/timworstal ... ef543265ab
"unemployment," which is the state of wanting a job, looking for one, and not being able to find one. Being entirely content to not have a job and thus not be looking for one is different from this, it most certainly is, but it's still unemployment.

Due to the inclusion of lagged quarters, the state alternative measures may not fully reflect the current status of the labor market. The analysis that follows pertains to the averages from the second quarter of 2018 through the first quarter of 2019. Data are also available for prior time periods back to 2003.

The six state measures are based on the same definitions as those published for the United States:

U-1, persons unemployed 15 weeks or longer, as a percent of the civilian labor force;
U-2, job losers and persons who completed temporary jobs, as a percent of the civilian labor force;
U-3, total unemployed, as a percent of the civilian labor force (this is the definition used for the official unemployment rate);
U-4, total unemployed plus discouraged workers, as a percent of the civilian labor force plus discouraged workers;
U-5, total unemployed, plus discouraged workers, plus all other marginally attached workers, as a percent of the civilian labor force plus all marginally attached workers; and
U-6, total unemployed, plus all marginally attached workers, plus total employed part time for economic reasons, as a percent of the civilian labor force plus all marginally attached workers.

The term is attributed to economist Richard Koo and is related to the debt deflation concept described by economist Irving Fisher.
Recent examples include Japan's recession that began in 1990 and the U.S. recession of 2007-2009.

The Consumer will decide as we warrant direction to local affairs scaled to the rate of theft called tax.

India's voracious appetite for US crude is already visible in the latest numbers from the US Energy Information Administration. The country imported 263,000 b/d of US crude in Q1 2019, an eightfold jump from as low as 33,000 b/d in Q1 2018. Inflows so far this year have also been more than double the 2018 average of 131,000 b/d.
While IOC could also be looking for incremental supplies from Kuwait, the UAE and Mexico to replace Iranian imports, it will also be actively seeking volumes in the spot market depending on commercial viability.
State-run Indian Oil Corp., or IOC, will be aiming to replace up to 70% of the Iranian crude volumes with incremental inflows from Saudi Arabia and the United States, as the country's biggest buyer of Iranian crude steps up effort to find alternative supplies, its chairman Sanjiv Singh told S&P Global Platts in an interview. https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/mark ... r-imo-2020

Democrats drive up gas prices, then demand investigation into high gas prices.
Which is why it’s so surprising that California Gov. Gavin Newsom is demanding that the California Energy Commission investigate why gas is so expensive and report back to his office by May 15.

That publication could not even be bothered to report on the attack of its own employees for two weeks—and even then it was only as an opinion piece written by a friend of the couple. The couple said the police officer who responded acted strangely.
After having been viciously beaten, kicked in the face and dragged by her hair, the battered woman was told by the officer to “shut up and get in the car.”

That is the cunning plan of Australian psychologists following a study that found that about one in five corporate executives are psychopaths – roughly the same rate as among prisoners. As The Telegraph reports,

The study of 261 senior professionals in the United States found that 21 per cent had clinically significant levels of psychopathic traits. The rate of psychopathy in the general population is about one in a hundred.
Sounds about right based on my experience in the corporate world. There are some real sickos out there running the corporations.

From 2013.
Higgenbotham wrote:They knew it wouldn't work for the 99%. They knew it would put the market out of reach of prospective home owners. They knew it would increase rents and other costs and that would create a prohibitive strain on the working class and the economy. And they just didn't care how it might affect anyone but themselves. But they thought it might work for themelves so they did it anyway. That's how a psychopath operates. "The medical definition is simple: A psychopath is a person who lacks empathy and conscience, the quality which guides us when we choose between good and evil, moral or not. Most of us are conditioned to do good things. Psychopaths are not." There is only one thing that puts their evil behavior in check - and that is the threat of violence. And that is why it is my prediction that this will turn violent before it is done. Violence is the only thing that a psychopath understands. You cannot reason with a psychopath except when that reasoning involves something the equivalent of, "if you don't stop doing this to me I will smash your fucking head in with a hammer." That gets their attention. If you emote, squirm, etc., that will not work because a psychopath has no empathy and actually enjoys torturing people. Only normal people who have endured the torture of psychopaths for years on end can come to that inevitable conclusion. You cannot reason with a psychopath, period.
While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.

If normal "senior professionals" have significant levels of "psychopathic
traits," then the referenced traits are normal, not signs of
psychopathy.

Here's where circular reasoning is occurring.
  • Define a "psychopath is a person who lacks empathy and
    conscience."
  • Define a set of secondary "psychopathic traits" that are
    supposedly common to psychopaths, but also happen to be true of normal
    people.
  • Show that a target group of people have some of these secondary
    traits.
  • Conclude that people in your target group are therefore psychopaths
    who lack empathy and conscience.
My own view is that some real sickos are doing all sorts of things.
