That's very hard to do and it has a large margin of error to it but it's my best guess that an equivalent overvaluation to 3400 SPX in February would be about 3060 today.

Any guesses?

Yes, given the companies that have gone bankrupt and the reduction in forward earnings, I would guess it would have to be below 3000 to have the same forward P/E as it did at 3400.

I too did not expect a bounce this big. I have shifted money from some inflation hedge calls (which have done well in bounce with all the new money printing) to more S&P puts and Ferrari puts. So I am more set for a crash than ever before. My puts are Jan 2021, so as long as the crash is before then I should do fine. I will be really surprised if we make it through Sep without a crash.

I asked my broker the same question before giving him my estimate. He also said 3000 max.

I think it blindsided the Idiots In Charge, like me, didn't expect this to start until July or August when they
