Raoul Pal in some video I watched recently said something interesting about why crashes often happen around Sept. It was something like big retirement funds allocate based on published estimates for future earnings per share. But maybe these just want to adjust in 3rd quarter? Or maybe EPS estimates are updated mid year? Or maybe they want to adust before the end of the year comes? It seemed like he had something very interesting but I did not really catch it and am not sure what video it was. Does anyone here understand this idea about why crashes often happen around Sept?
