I've seen an ex girlfriend's grandfather leave his truck in a parking lot, abandoned, it broke down. These guys don't make enough. I pulled over on the side of a highway late night 2019 to check on a trucker who had his signs set out behind to see if he needed anything. Someone pulled in front of his cab, came around and said he walked into the field. BANG! Shot himself in the head dead. Found out he had no money to tow and repair. Desperate times. There is no bailout or help for blue collar white guys. Especially independent operators/trades.

We seen this also. Got stuck and damage on pull out and He just lost it. These people who think reality is at a super market are detached from all

Either way, the softening of "used" pricing is already well under way in segments we heard.

This Wall Street Journal Documentary is basically about the wasting process you talk about. Probably 1/4 of the documentary is about the trucking industry. The industry was deregulated in 1980. It is stated that there is no shortage of truck drivers; there is a shortage of truck drivers who are willing to work for low wages under terrible working conditions, which is discussed in detail while following actual truckers. There are 10 million people in the US qualified to drive trucks but only 3.5 million working as truck drivers. The rest of the video has mostly to do with warehouse work and delivery. The documentary starts at a factory in Asia and documents how products move from there to container ships, through the Port of Los Angeles, into trucks to warehouses, then are delivered to the door. The working lives of workers are documented at each part of the process. Not really recommended but if someone wants to see blue collar worker reality, this shows it.
While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.

This is every industry in america where the claim is "shortage" including medicine. It's always some lamentation that there are "jobs" which is just first order thinking. Is someone OK with being lowballed for a "job" is the real question at hand.

Oh yeah, for their next trick, they use the "shortage" to get H1B visas so they can lowball foreigners and screw Americans. And we wonder why the country has fallen apart ...

Interesting. Amazon making "an uber app for package delivery" is interesting. Makes for "cut throat competition".
The amazon delivery franchise thing seems a bit odd. They have their brand on the trucks but are set up so legally it is a different company. Hum.

But interesting to see the whole process.

Monday May 30th is Memorial Day holiday. So next weekend is a 3 day weekend. May 31st would be a good day for a crash. :-)
If something happens to cause the crash, then yes.
Something may be happening. Nasdaq is down 3.5% right now. If we continue down through Friday then 3 day weekend could be a good setup.
