That Gov Whitmer is really sad.

So China is now converting US Government bonds into Oil. I think this is a very wise move on their part. However, it further weakens the dollar position and probably brings us closer to hyperinflation situation. Note Russia and Saudi's are spending dollar reserves because low oil prices means they must. This is a flood of bonds really that will end up causing Federal Reserve to print money.

The states not being able to pay unemployment will end up with Fed printing money too.

The out of control money printing seems closer and closer.

Speaking of Gen X Debacles earlier today, not a day goes by anymore where I don't see yet another Gen X Debacle that boggles the mind.

Knowing that Gen X Debacles are everywhere, it occurred to me that I probably ought to get my 3M gas mask out of storage just in case. This gas mask is a silicon half mask with a cartridge for organics (that probably does no good for preventing coronavirus infection) and a particulate filter (dusts and mists). P100 particulate filters can be used on it, but I had one that is probably a P95. But a P95 will get the vast majority of the particulate, much more than 95%.

So today I went over to Whole Foods to get a few things the regular grocery store doesn't have and took the mask with me. You know, Whole Foods was bought out by Bezos, a Gen Xer. It was raining and on the way over I thought that I would therefore park in the underground garage. When I got there, the entrance to the underground garage was blocked off and there was a long line of about 30 people in front of the store. Since it was raining, the people were crowded near the front of the store and the line snaked around such that people were forced to be about 3 feet apart in every direction. I was absolutely astounded that such a situation could exist at a Bezos owned property given the social distancing rules!

So I took the gas mask with me and put it on before I reached the crowd. After getting in line, I could see people were visibly nervous and I don't think seeing a guy with a gas mask on made them feel any better. I had to wait in line about 10 minutes as it inched slowly toward the store entrance. As I got to the entrance of the store, there was a sign that said to better serve customers, they were monitoring traffic into the store. As someone was leaving the store, I was told to go ahead and go in now. I waited for that person to get 6 feet away from me before entering the store; otherwise I would have crossed paths about 2 feet away from her.
