On September 23, 2019, former Fed Insider correctly predicts that the Fed may do something more substantial in October to stabilize the repo market and that will give the market the elixir it wants through about year end to set up a larger fall in 2020.

For the record, I often don't understand what you're talking about,
especially when you get into those obscure technical indicators, but
I always assume that you know what you're talking about.

Age-specific Birth Rates

The 12 month-ending birth rates increased when comparing 2018 Q2 with 2019 Q2 for the following age group(s):
35-39 years (52.7 to 53.2).
40-44 years (11.8 to 12.0).

The 12 month-ending birth rates decreased when comparing 2018 Q2 with 2019 Q2 for the following age group(s):
15-19 years (18.1 to 17.2).
20-24 years (70.0 to 67.9).
25-29 years (96.9 to 95.3).
30-34 years (100.4 to 99.9).

No change was seen in the 12 month-ending birth rates when comparing 2018 Q2 with 2019 Q2 for the following age group(s):
45+ years (0.9 to 0.9).
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/nata ... hboard.htm#

We haven't yet seen the data that would be a consequence of the rougher waters experienced in Q4 2018 onward. We should see some more precipitous declines in a couple quarters.

The 35-44 age group has been trying to squeeze a baby in at the last minute before the clock runs out. Probably a lot of it done with the aid of IVF.

Anecdotal.

We know the birth rate is crashing. And we've been discussing inflation/deflation.

I have a baby due shortly and called the hospital to get registered and get a quote. I will be paying the bill (no insurance). The rep at the hospital who handles the accounts told me they would like to have us use their facilities and they'd quote me a self-pay rate of 11% of the "official" charge, which would come to around $3,500 (she said a Cesarean would be a couple thousand more). Our doctor had told me a couple months ago that somebody else who is self pay got a rate of $8,000. It was my impression from reading about average hospital charges that a birth with no complications would cost $25-30,000 and a Cesarean somewhere around $50,000. As of yet, we have not received a written quote or made payment.

This may be the leading edge of deflation showing up.

Yes it is H as the mental illnesses spread unabated for some - times.
A comment was forwarded as,

Although the truth may have enormous value to communities, it has no “academic respectability” today because it is not “original research”.

The oldest and best MSS. (Aleph A B C L W) do not have it. It first appears in Codex Bezae.

I hope all is well with your gifts and what is given to date H.

There was some talk in the first half of the year about how productivity is trending higher and how that would boost GDP. After the third quarter release (of -0.3%), that talk disappeared:
