So 2.438 million filed for unemployment this past week. I suspect we will stay over 2 million per week for some time to come. If we do, I wonder how many weeks it takes for it to start to dawn on people that printing trillions did not actually fix the real economy.

For thousands of years, people of the Far East have been looking into each other's eyes for signs of this dreaded condition. Any sign of sanpaku meant that a man's entire system — physical, physiological and spiritual — was out of balance. He had committed sins against the order of the universe and he was therefore sick, unhappy, insane, what the West has come to call "accident prone". The condition of sanpaku is a warning, a sign from nature, that one's life is threatened by an early and tragic end.

After some thousands of years some times they have a point also.
No matter what zone also its pains us to see this suffering of the common man. Fun with numbers is 6% of the human population it was noted has brains that are hard-wired as sociopaths or psychopaths as another 12% are sociopaths and psychopaths by association. Avoid polo-tics is just another day and being left alone was noted early and often as they feast on the productive capital trying to avoid them and intrinsic value is long dead for now.

Long live the bot bashers.

analysis of the largest genome of 103 new coronaviruses so far,
it has been found that the new coronavirus has recently developed 149 mutation points and developed into two subtypes

There can be a significant difference between the transmission and the severity of the disease transmission between the L subtype and the S subtype.

They got our state in 8 zones which was good measure so we can focus solution forward to response.

Researchers working on the treatment of new monoclonal antibodies to coronavirus have found an antibody among surviving SARS that can also neutralize SARS-CoV-2 and prevent COVID-19.

L l8ter looks viable. Focus what is important since the usual suspects are not.
August we are looking for a pivot. Assets for some will deflate to survive debt insanitys
and the denial of the glassy eyed is wearing off.

opened small position in teaf

In other words, with most other investor classes sitting this one out and thus making sure market liquidity remains dismal, retail investors - who have been chasing upward momentum in the past three months as they flooded their $0-trade cost online discount brokers with trades - basically took over the market, which also explains why this particular bear market rally from the March 23 low to 3,000 has been especially hated by institutions. tyler

As we noted H they supplied the dividend being short in greed and we long in a few areas of DCF. Ponies in the shit pile

I could pull up our query date but I do think any one here needs it at all.

My guess is that it'll have to be company earnings that make people realize this. I recall that the market didn't like it when Amazon said they would take a slight earnings hit to roll out their one day delivery. If Amazon were to say the pandemic has resulted in a break even quarter and they can't project positive earnings in the foreseeable future, that would tank the whole stock market in my opinion.
While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.

In a sane world both of you would be right, but I am not sure at all how most investors are viewing stock prices and PE ratios. I suspect that stocks must just keep going up however illogical that might be

Both Poland circa 1980 and the U.S. friction in 2020, center around fragile economic issues. Both were an outcome of state control; and the key connection is government targeting control over the workers.
In both examples the state took exclusive control of the economic and social state of the citizens, and the courts provided no option for redress. In both examples the state locked down the citizens and would not permit them to interact with each other.
In 1981 the government in Poland initiated Martial Law and citizens were forced to communicate underground. In 2020 a considerable number of U.S. state governments locked-down citizens in similar fashion and banned citizen assembly.
In 1981 in Poland the communist regime used economic psychological pressure, selecting workers permitted to earn wages. Those workers identified as “essential” to the state. In 2020 many State governors selected workers to earn an income by designating them “essential” to the state.
In 1981 in Poland; communication amid the Solidarity Movement was forced underground. In 2020 many oppressive State governors demanded social media remove public content adverse to the interests of the Stay-at-Home confinement orders. Big Tech complied with the authoritarian dictate.

Our constitutional tradition sees law differently. Emerging from the Anglo-Saxon common law tradition, our Constitution directs that the people should chart their own course. It encourages us to think about law as “the story of a nation’s development,” or, in the words of the political historian J.G.A. Pocock, our Constitution’s common law roots see “a people and its laws uniquely and autonomously themselves.” The law emerges from us, and it is an expression of who we are as a people—Catholics and non-Catholics alike.

This does not mean we abandon morality. It means that we lower our expectations about what we can hope to achieve by way of law and politics for as long as we disagree about morality. St. Thomas Aquinas wrote that, “human laws do not forbid all vices, from which the virtuous abstain, but only the more grievous vices, from which it is possible for the majority to abstain.” Murray agreed that disagreements about even the moral minimum are a “critical” problem in a plural society that permits many differing belief systems where, still, law cannot be a law without the consent of the people, and a majority must consent. millies

The Roe v. Wade decision was supported by five Republican-appointed Justices.

Viability was the foundation as the decision was made.

The Center for Medical Progress show Planned Parenthood abortionists discussing their expected weekly numbers of late-term, healthy “specimens” for procurement agencies and researchers – not ones with anomalies.

Planned Parenthood leadership, speaking to investigators they thought were fetal body parts harvesters, admitted that the amount of late-term abortions performed by Planned Parenthood is on the rise – and that this is intentional.
