The more important question is where the quality goes.
Part IV a history of the third millennium
Darkness
312

Out of the cities there will come a monstrous tide of
brutalised humanity with no apparent means of feeding
itself or clothing its children. Places like London and
Birmingham are likely to be abandoned first, but in
time every remaining pocket of order and
civilisation will be threatened. Only the most
remote safe havens have any chance of escaping
unscathed (though their very remoteness will
ensure a rude existence). As they flee from each
other, people will spread across the globe to form
an almost uniform layer.
The Phoenix Principle and the Coming Dark Age by Marc Widdowson, 2001

It will be an almost uniform layer compared to what exists now would in my opinion be a more accurate way to put it.
While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.

That sounds far more fictional than any idea showing BTC, which is something real, stretching to help people around the world and replacing fake fiat value. Have you been watching that Left Behind stuff, too, recently? Jeez

Do you put a probability on a "Dark Age" not happening? Or are you fatalistic like JX?

By the way, this Howe stuff is just embarrassing. He doesn't ever say anything yet gets all this acclaim as if what he writes helps anyone. It's bizarre.

It's happening right now, but it's still early days. A long way to the bottom.

I saw the state transition from a conservative state, to a communist hellscape.
It took me 8 years before I could flee California for good. It’s a nightmare of a state. Stay out.

Collapse is certain and the plan. Uniparty will not be offered shelter when the ship goes down and it is in real time.
They burned the zone to the ground.
It's being destroyed.

Classical trolley problem. Lights out.

Proposition 12 will push it over the cliff.

Since I get in trouble for talking about it, who generally controls things Aeden? Why will the Uniparty, their useful idiots (I agree) not be "offered shelter". Don't worry, John won't censor you. For now.
