Ebola
Ebola
Lets all sing and dance to "Ebola In Town" by the artist "Shadow" in Monrovia, Liberia.
The song is at 15:19 minutes in the "Vice News" video. The video is about eating bush meat ( like monkeys ) and its relation to Ebola.

Enjoy - high sarcasm.

Anyway, we needn't worry about Ebola, as it's very difficult to spread.
If it does break out, however, I'm moving to Greenland!

Unless you are being sarcastic, I will assume you are younger then I, I am 68. I received a similar response from another younger then I. Guess, it is a generational thing.Nathan G wrote:Those toys look adorable!gerald wrote:What? --

I'm a millennial, so I guess it's that naivete coming out of me. Also, I was joking. Besides, how is a doll shaped like a germ not adorable (not to mention educational)?gerald wrote:Unless you are being sarcastic, I will assume you are younger then I, I am 68. As for my link, that's part of the joke, as I've played Plague Inc long enough to realize that Greenland is basically immune to diseases. (Cold, sparsely populated, and out in the middle of nowhere).
Re: Ebola
OK, I understand your perspective. However having seen closeup ( in the non-public back rooms of a museum ) and even admired ( in a way ) the cuteness and craftsmanship of real shrunken human heads, I may be a little more selective in deciding what is adorable. -- Regarding the human heads, the collector of the heads for the museum ( a few decades ago ) was examining his collection and noticed one of the heads had a scar on it's upper lip, a scar just like one of his missing friends.Nathan G wrote:I'm a millennial, so I guess it's that naivete coming out of me. Oh, and making a shrunken head takes a fair amount of time and skill. From proper harvesting through the various stages of shrinking, preserving, and adjusting the material to maintain proper proportion, it is an art.
Cheers

Great post sushi! I posted over a week ago, that those West Africans with the money to buy plane tickets would begin to depart on tourist visa for Northern European nations with national health care, this is a rational move to save their own lives. But it will bring infection with it, and also, the sick who fly in will be given full treatment at taxpayer expense, and when they recover, they will be given asylum and a passport. Benefits for flying to Europe for an African who can afford it are obvious, so obvious I expect all flights to be fucking packed full to Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, the USA, New Zealans and Australia. All these nations will now receive fully loaded planes from West Africa. Perhaps even extra flights will be added to meet the new demand.
I predict that all these governments on the receiving end will do nothing to stop anyone from entering. The local do gooders will demand open borders and open hospitals to any and all who can fly in. This story is in opening days.

I can confirm this since I was on their plane. OT: Don't you think it's rather hot in here?
