Just how? Will they be treated by decent people as pariahs? Will they live in fear of collapse or nuclear war? Will they be xenophobic of those that don't think like them? Will their values fade from the predominant culture? Will they be unable to recognize a regeneracy happening in front of their eyes?

Exactly what sort of ill wish do you have for them?

Don't see it, myself.

I don't wish any evil on them, but they will perish in their foolishness - unaware of just how grateful they should have been for the civilizational founders and producers in the society from whom they coveted all the goods. A culling is coming, the sad part is that these mobs of chaos ruin so much within their radius it's disgusting - decent people among them to boot, who weren't as able or enlightened to depart from their transgressor ways.

Appreciated that you have no ill wishes. That was someone else.

I am not so sure blues need walk that dark a path.

Generally in mixing ages, turnings and civilizations, a civilization during a crisis will remove aspects of a previous age that most grievously effect the culture.

These include taxation without representation and colonial imperialism in the US Revolution. They include slavery and being tied to an agricultural influence in government that limited industrial expansion in the US Civil War. This included regulating the economy enough to end periodic Gilded Age depressions and getting rid of expansionist dictators in FDR’s time. New progressive ideas are needed to get rid of real problems. Conservatives with their dependency on the existing power structure and the exploitation of prior ages resist the change.

The crisis issues this time around are COVID, the economy, structural racism, red violence, and perhaps global warming. The Republicans found reason to be against solving all of the above problems. Biden is at least starting to address all of them.

Now it is hard to be thrilled by a crisis. It would be irrational to celebrate a half million people dying, the economy tanking, police killing minorities, the capitol being stormed or the environment ruined. These are all bad things. They are not things one would welcome.

But as an age / turning / civilization guy, it is about time. We have to get rid of a culture of not solving problems, of letting things get worse. Before the triggers, I was worried about what would happen if we went though a prophet / nomad / hero alignment of generations without a trigger, if the don’t solve problems culture remained dominant. The best I could come up with is an awakening on steroids.

So, no, I wouldn’t say the blues welcome the crisis. A crisis is a time one would as soon not live through, or soon ends. But at the same time, there is no need to feel sorry for it happening. There are painful lessons to be learned. You cannot ignore the science. You cannot accept political fantasies built on lies. You cannot ignore the problems. You cannot tolerate racism. You cannot trash the environment.

These are all hard lessons to be learned. They could become ‘never again’ type values come the high. They could hurt collectively as much as a war or collapse.

But it is necessary. Age old oppressions do not end, civilization do not advance, more that they do in a crisis. This is another illustration of how cultures can be enhanced. It takes a bunch of pain in the process. Crises hurt. The stubborn insistence of conservatives not to see and remove problems hurts. A problem not resolved grows worse. The crisis comes, perhaps in some ways no one will want it to.

But I don’t think you need feel too sorry for the progressives. We have our regeneracy. We can proceed into Churchill’s promised 'broad sunlit uplands’. https://winstonchurchill.org/resources/ ... nest-hour/

But there is a need to correct a few things first.

Not that I didn't know, but you are totally delusional. You can't come to a right conclusion with a wrong premise (or premises). COVID is not a crisis issue. The economy is the way it is because of lack of free markets and cronyism from large government and corrupt pols. Structural racism is a meaningless, nonexistent term and bankrupt idea. Violence is blue or pro communist. Global warming is a farce.

Your analysis can never be correct because you believe in, and promote, lies.

I can agree that you can’t come to a right conclusion with a wrong premise or premises. The problem is how badly you have to close your eyes to disregard reality.

COVID deaths are greater than our World War II military endured.

Republicans with their debit spending in good time and bad usually keep things going until near the end of their second term in the White House. This time COVID caused the collapse early. If the collapse was not due to the usual elite greed, it is no less a collapse.

Bad cops kill minorities at whim. The protests of this through last summer were massive.

The violence caused by red groups in the Capitol Insurrection was quite real, and neither blue nor pro communist.

You should not ignore the science.

Who believes in and promotes lies? Who would continue the current structure with its oppression which requires ignoring the problems which cause so much oppression and death? If these problems are not real, what is? The war of the week? A crisis war by a major power in the Information Age?

Your analysis can never be correct because you believe in, and promote, lies.

Here's a list of some of the many crisis issues that the Democrats are
not only not helping to solve, but are actively working to make the
crisis worse:

* Domestic terrorism. The Republicans have openly condemned all
violence by right-wing groups. The Democrats have openly supported
and encouraged violence by antifa-blm fascists and other left-wing
groups, because they want the fascists to target Trump supporters.

* Covid. Trump's Warp Speed Program produced vaccines within nine
months, a historic accomplishment. The Democrats would have taken 2-3
years. Now with doddering Biden in office, they're following Trump's
distribution plan, and failing to initiate any improvements.

* Economy. Before Covid, Trump's economy was the best in decades. He
was particularly proud of blacks having the lowest unemployment rates
in history. Biden is reversing all of Trump's economic policies and
blacks in particular are suffering.

* Structural racism. Amazon just banned Clarence Thomas during Black
History Month in a new "High Tech Lynching," because Thomas is a black
man who married a white woman. A century ago, Democrats used to lynch
black men who associated with white women, and this continues the
Democrats' structural racism.

* Structural racism. 75% of black babies are born without fathers.
Democrat policies are targeted to increase that number, in order
to keep blacks under control, as in the Civil War.

* Open borders. Democrats are flooding the country with millions of
illegal aliens, including hundreds of children who are being stored in
storage containers, where the press is forbidden to see. Some of the
adults are criminals -- drug merchants, child traffickers, etc. The
children are being forced to attend re-education centers and are
forced to learn Democratic party doctrine, and instructed how to vote
for Democrats, even though they're illegal. The Democrats sacrifice
country security in order to get millions of illegal Democratic
voters.

* Energy independence. During the Trump administration, America
became energy independent and reduced carbon emissions. The Democrats
are canceling pipelines and forcing use of unreliable sources of
energy like windmills and solar panels, with the result that carbon
emissions will increase, and America will be dependent on oil imports
from other countries. This will make climate change much worse. The
Democrats are doing this because they want to benefit the Chinese
Communists who will be manufacturing the solar panels and selling them
to the US, and so that the Chinese Communists can say that they're
doing better at emissions.

* Mail-in ballots. Democrats want to make mail-in ballots mandatory
in every election, so that they can use massive voter fraud to rig
every election, the same way they rigged the 2020 election.

* Cash bail. Democrats are opening prisons and ending cash bail,
letting out criminals because they believe that criminals will vote
for Democrats.

* Minimum wage. Democrats want a $15 minimum wage in order to put
small businesses competing with Amazon out of business. Democrats are
cooperating with their cronies at Big Tech and other large
corporations in order to get large money contributions.

* 30 Tyrants. When Sparta defeated Athens in the Peloponnesian War,
there was a group of Athenians (the 30 Tyrants) who cooperated with
the Spartans in return for being given absolute power after the war
ended. It seems likely that the Democrats are doing the same thing
with the Chinese Communists, so that they'll be in power if the
Chinese Communists win the war.

Bobby B destroyed by John.

Minorities are "killed at whim."

This guy doesn't even know how to look up FBI crime statistics and check out who kills everyone else in the country. Hint: It's not the cops.

I’m not interested in going point by point, but a few basics.

The US has 4% of the world’s population, and 25% of the COVID deaths. Trump did not do a good job. He politicized the problem, and to this date the preference is much more for Democrats to take precautions and get a vaccine than Republicans. Trump took credit for operation warp speed resulting in a quick vaccine when that particular pharmaceutical company was not part of operation warp speed. Trump did not get into the same amount of his own population killed by government policy as Hitler, Stalin or Mao, but he was well on his way at a half million. That might get him an honorable mention.

To claim otherwise is requires an absence of your vaunted ability to do research. It clearly shows your ideological bias.

There are two perspectives on xenophobia, of cultures hating and taking action to oppress one another. One can take this as a scientific phenomenon, and project how cultures have hated in the past to how this hate might be projected in the future. From that perspective, I have picked up much here.

One can also immerse one’s self in xenophobia, develop a hatred for other cultures. One can develop the mindset that hatred and conflict are the natural and desired result.

Obviously, in the conflict between WIERD and tribal thinking, the WEIRD advocate that all men are created equal, that hate is not a positive thing. The tribal thinkers advocate hatred and oppression. For me, this is an easy choice.

But in saying a culture has more babies born out of wedlock than another, one can take this to another level. One can say the culture has a problem and strive to fix it, or one can develop xenophobia and try to punish the victims. In the progressive era, back in the awakening, there was a war on poverty and a civil rights movement. The people perceived problems and tried to end them. During the conservative time, during the unraveling, labor unions were weakened, benefits cut, jobs sent overseas, the division of wealth amplified, and in general there was that attempt to punish the victim, to build xenophobia. This reached its peak on January 6, when white supremacy organizations attacked the legislative branch of government to delay slightly the loss of power of a racist president.

The current concerns with racial oppression echo the efforts of the awakening. I can see the long progressive efforts to end the domestic xenophobia starting again should we enter a new progressive era.

Now are the Democrats perfect? Did they overcome the Republican tribal thinking during the unraveling? Obviously not. However, we are starting to solve problems again. We will see how far it goes.

And I will repeat that there is no evidence of voter suppression in the 2020 election. At least, there was nothing anywhere near large enough to flip electoral votes. The second impeachment gave Trump every motive to present such evidence if had he had it. He would not have tried to demand said evidence of a Georgia prosecutor had he already had it. Trump lied.

** 04-Mar-2021 World View: Neanderthal thinking

You've accused anyone who doesn't have your brilliant, enlightened
view of this world, including the other members of this forum, as
being guilty of "tribal thinking," saying that if only they'd give up
their tribal thinking, then they'd agree with your enlightened view.

Well, now you can go a step further, and refer to those who don't
agree with you, including the other members of this forum, as being
guilty of "Neanderthal, tribal thinking."

The phrase "Neanderthal thinking" is being applied to all people who
think for themselves by the corrupt Stalinist Democratic regime, which
is using Big Tech and corrupt media to suppress independent thinking
by Neanderthals, and is using antifa-blm fascists, Amazon and banking
monopolists, and teachers unions to control Neanderthal people and
destroy Neanderthal businesses, many of which are blacks, whom the
Democrats have considered to be Neanderthal since the days when they
opposed freeing the slaves, and then formed the KKK to lynch, torture,
beat and kill their Neanderthals for an entire century.

The use of the phrase "Neanderthal thinking" by the doddering
Stalinist Democratic leader comes a day after the new High-Tech
Lynching of Clarence Thomas by the Amazon component of the corrupt
Stalinist Democratic regime. I don't think that this is a
coincidence. New analyses of the 2020 election show that blacks and
latinos are increasingly supporting Republicans, and I think that
Democratic reference to "Neanderthal thinking" refers to Latinos and
blacks who are turning against the Democrats.

So now you don't have to stop at "tribal thinking." You can also use
"Neanderthal thinking" in your contemptuous descriptions of people who
don't share your brilliant, enlightened views. And let's not forget
those old favorites -- terrorists, racists, thugs, teabaggers,
criminals, insurrectionists, white supremacists, sexists, homophobes,
xenophobes -- you name it -- and all the other people in Hillary's
Basket of Deplorables. You just have an increasing wealth of
name-calling to use to express deep contempt for the 74 million people
that you hate, especially blacks and Latinos.
