Gonna sing a little ditty,.. ♪♫Big Surprise, Big Surprise, Openin' eyes,.. Open eyes!♪♫

It's getting easier and easier to distinguish the "corrupt" from the "only partially corrupt" every day, isn't it?

So,.. what does this new perception mean? What does it affect? What do we do with it?

Complaining about shit is interesting, and all, but,.. so what?

** 25-Feb-2020 World View: San Francisco declares coronavirus emergency

Within the last few hours, San Francisco mayor London Breed declared a
local coronavirus emergency. According to Breed's statement:
> "Although there are still zero confirmed cases in San
> Francisco residents, the global picture is changing rapidly, and
> we need to step-up preparedness. We see the virus spreading in
> new parts of the world every day, and we are taking the necessary
> steps to protect San Franciscans from harm."
San Francisco has several reasons to be concerned. One is that San
Francisco has a world famous Chinatown:
> "A western street with eastern manners,
> Tall pagodas and golden banners
> Throw their shadows through the lantern glow.

> You can shop for precious jade
> or teakwood tables or silk brocade
> Or see a bold and brassy night club show,
> On the most exciting thoroughfare I know.

> We call it
> Grant Avenue, San Francisco,
> California, U.S.A.
> Looks down from Chinatown
> Over a foggy bay.

> You travel there in a trolley,
> In a trolley up you climb,
> Dong! Dong! You're in Hong Kong,
> Having yourself a time.

> You can eat, if you are in the mood,
> Shark-fin soup, bean cake fish.
> The girl who serves you all your food
> Is another tasty dish!

> You know you
> Can't have a new way of living
> Till you're living all the way
> On Grant Avenue. --Where is that?--
> San Francisco, That's where's that!
> California U.S.A."
> --- Flower Drum Song, Rodgers & Hammerstein, 1959
The other major issue is that the city has been in the news a great
deal recently because the streets are filled with homeless people,
along with associated stuff like needles, filth and disease,
the perfect breeding ground for coronavirus.

I still think the greatest consequence of the coronavirus is going to be economic. If the real growth of China is minimal based on what was happening before the virus, I consider it a strong possibility this will lead to a recession. I don't think we're going to see a 1918-style disease, since medical technology has greatly advanced since then, as have protocols. As things stand, the United States is more than 23 trillion dollars in debt.

Personally, I think our political leaders know we're in for another big recession, and they're just hoping the chaos that follows will allow them to seize power.

This virus doesn't seem to be as deadly as some portray it. It's doing what influenza usually does which is kill the elderly and ailing. Not that that is not tragic, but I think people need to examine this a little more carefully. It's not the Black Death. It may cause serious economic upheaval, but it won't end civilization. Unless the Chinese decide to nuke everyone.

Navigator wrote:Like John, I also use massive quantities of Vitamin C on a daily basis. I take 6-8 Grams per day. That's 6000-8000mg.

I started doing this after reading a book by Linus Pauling on Vitamin C. The title was "How to Live Longer and Feel Better". Linus Pauling was a renowned chemist, the Albert Einstein of his field. You can get a copy of this book for about $5.

He pointed out all of the reasons for taking large amounts of Vitamin C. He also got into why the medical field doesn't want you to do this, and it basically came down to "they want you to visit the doctor, need medical care, and take over the counter drugs - this generates a lot of income for them".

Pauling's father died in his 30's. Linus lived well into his 90s and was healthy and mentally active up until the very end.

Since I have been taking the large doses, I don't get colds but maybe once every 2-3 years. I also don't get the flu every year like most people.

One word of advice here - it works best as a PREVENTIVE action. Once you get sick, it can reduce the severity, but there I would recommend Zinc melts as well.
The key word is immunity. Helps prevent all virus infections, or makes them milder. Even prevents cancer and a variety of serious aliments. Vitamin C increases immunity. But so does correct body weight, healthy diet, plenty of exercise, low stress levels, and very important make sleep a priority - more than 8 hours. I also don't get colds or flu, perhaps every 5 years, and at age 73 I reckon on a mild dose of coronavirus or not infected.

Bomb throwing time...

Hitler was not a fascist.

<..long pause...>

There are four "things" in the same category as "fascism":
1) Nationality (country/territory) based socialism (totalitarianism)
2) Race (bloodline/genetic) based socialism (totalitarianism)
3) Internationality (all mankind/universal) based socialism (totalitarianism)
4) Non-Socialism (non-totalitarianism/anti-totalitarianism)

#1 is fascism
#2 is nazism
#3 is communism
#4 is normalism (which is essentially "free/voluntary trade")

"Socialism" is simply: State control of the economy (in some non-trivial proportion) which naturally and necessarily transforms into totalitarianism (full control).

..all group to group intercourse is determined and fully described (although not elaborated) by the above definitions.

Period. Drop the Mic. Have a nice day, and don't forget to tip your waitress,.. er, waitperson.
