This is all wild unsupported speculation.

Could you provide links to a couple of those easy-enough-to-locate
"alternative sources"?
https://grassrootconservative.blogspot. ... l.html?m=1 Blog post from someone collecting all the sources he could find on the matter in the first few days after the blast, but some of the links are broken (due to efforts to suppress this information from spreading). However, he acknowledges that the site linked to in the blog entry that published the claim of Israel nuking Beirut, Veterans Today, has become unreliable in recent years. However, you also have the "fact checkers" like Snopes claiming the infrared videos that are being taken down every time they pop up online were doctored; and since these "fact checkers" are all controlled by the far left/China and are notorious for suppressing all information that does not conform to the narrative they want you to believe, I would be legitimately surprised if those videos were actually doctored like they claim.

https://youtu.be/nYFO1cc33DQ An upload of one of these videos that somehow has not been taken down yet.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/wor ... 317722001/ Lebanon's President stated that "external intervention", aka a missile strike, was a possible cause of the blast. However, later articles from this site follow along with the MSM's narrative and deny any possibility of evidence of "external intervention" existing.

https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/2020 ... rt-claims/ One of the few news reports on the labyrinth discovered in the aftermath of the explosion, and includes a link to a video upload on Twitter from someone investigating the tunnels. The Lebanese Army is officially denying their existence, which gives off the impression that they were being used for a sinister purpose prior to the explosion.

The assumption that human trafficking is/was taking place in this labyrinth is fueled by the actions the MSM/SM and Democrats have taken to silence anyone and everyone who tries to speak out on this issue and bring it to light. But to go into further detail on this in this post would derail the current topic.

...and, while I was typing up that reply, it looks like Lebanon's government has officially resigned because of the blast.

** 10-Aug-2020 World View: Hassan Diab's resignation

I just watched prime minister Hassan Diab's resignation speech live.
He was bitterly critical of the "political élites" who are responsible
for the explosion in Beirut. He blamed them for corruption, lies, and
for finding ways to defeat all attempts to end corruption.

He made it clear that it was "us versus them," but it wasn't clear to
me who the "them" were, who the political élites are. Is he referring
to Hezbollah or to some other group? That should become clearer soon.

Following up on John's latest post.

Additional video of initial discovery of underground tunnels/rooms. https://www.skynews.com.au/details/_6179442854001

Not to stay on the human trafficking(HT) topic, but if related to HT then this will be swept under the rug. No one will admit publicly they knew of or profited from this.

Lebanese government is resigning over the explosion. After declaring that investigators only had 4 days to determine cause. We'll see if that deadline is extended.

Interestingly, this should temporarily take Hezbollah out of the "official" government. If this was a human, weapons, drugs, money smuggling operation then Hezbollah operations will be hurt by this.

Oh wait. Hassan Diab has resigned, but he's going to stay on in a
"caretaker capacity." That of course is completely different. Crisis
over.

Listening to Lebanon's politicians, it's clear that nobody is at
fault. It's the SYSTEM that's at fault, not the people running the
system. The individual people are blameless. It's the system. Just
the system.

Here's my take on the crisis in Lebanon.

The "Shia Cresent" that Iran has been trying to build in the Levant for the past twenty years is close to collapse. The first cracks came with the Syrian Civil War and the rise of ISIS. Further cracks have emerged thanks to the massive corruption in both Iraq and Lebanon. Meanwhile, Iran is finding it increasingly difficult to maintain control of its "Shia Crescent" due to a flailing economy.

Once the "Shia Cresent" collapses, the Levant will become a power void ready to be split up by the other regional powers. The two powers I'm most concerned about are Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Both countries, like Iran, are major sources of Islamic fundamentalism. Both countries also are becoming increasingly bitter enemies, as they compete with each other (and with Iran) to become the next great Islamic empire following the collapse of the Ottoman Empire at the end of WWI. And both countries, unlike Iran, are in generational crisis eras and thus becoming increasingly nationalistic and militaristic. In my opinion, it is very likely that these two countries will be on opposing sides in the Generational Dynamics World War. Saudi Arabia will side with the US and Turkey will with China. Although in the long run I believe Saudi Arabia will eventually collapse, as it is much less stable internally than Turkey is. And once the monarchy is gone the remaining tribes will side with Turkey for religious reasons, as Turkey is still a Sunni country.

To clarify, I believe that from the Saudi perspective the Generational Dynamics World War will be two wars in one. The first war, the war between Turkey and the House of Saud, will be a crisis war for the House of Saud but a non-crisis war for the lesser, more radical Sunni tribes. This is because the lesser tribes never had the hard power that would be at stake for the Sauds, and they therefore would have much less to lose than the Sauds. The second war, the war where the lesser Sunni tribes ally with Turkey against the Shias, will be a crisis war for the Saudi entire population.

Book Funding Update

Post by Navigator »

The person who set up John's GoFundMe page is in the process of transferring control of that to John.

He has offered to set up a new GoFundMe page for Book funding that John will also control.

Once this is set up, I will be able to work out a simple agreement with John to get the book done as donations come in.

My current intent is to publish it as an e-book, and use Kotobee as the distribution mechanism. That way Amazon won't take most of the proceeds, and it will protect the content from web distribution.

I am hoping that all of this can be done quickly, as I figure the window for preparation will be closing soon, probably 3-6 months.
