This is an interesting story, and possibly very significant.

It comes the day after Turkey's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan
suffered significant setbacks in Sunday's election, losing to the
opposition in Ankara and possibly in Istanbul as well.

Turkey is in an economic crisis, with 20% unemployment, 20% inflation
rate, and 40% fall of the lira currency in the last year.

But if China attacks Japan, that means instant war with America. So wouldn't the Chinese attack the US at the same time?

Because America will come to the aid of Japan instantly.
