I started writing again for my own site. I think I can put out an article at least once a week.

The new article is a bit more controversial than ones I have written in the past.

As always, a well thought out, clear, and concise analysis, Colonel. I am glad you are writing again. I believe I read every article on your site back in 2018.

If America turns left in November 2020, I recommend people read about what happened to the average Russian after the 1917 Bolshevik takeover because that is what is going to happen to them.

I think the ultimate prep remains to leave the US.

** 13-Aug-2020 World View: Israel and UAE reach peace agreement

US President Donald Trump has mediated a peace agreement between
Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) being described as
"historic," since the agreement will lead to normalization of
diplomatic relations between the two countries, for the first time.
They will exchange embassies and ambassadors, and cooperate in
numerous commercial areas.

According to Trump, both parties were anxious to reach this agreement,
because Israel and UAE are united in their opposition to Iran. Trump
said that the agreement only became possible because the
administration backed out of the Iran nuclear deal, and then Trump
developed personal relations of friendship with several Arab nations,
including Saudi Arabia.

As part of the agreement, Israel will abandon plans to annex a portion
of the West Bank occupied by Israeli settlers. The settler community
will be angered by the agreement.

Trump is claiming that this agreement is an important step on the path
to Mideast peace. This is political fantasy. The Palestinians are
not part of this deal, and they will not be in favor of it. In fact,
the BBC has just quoted a Palestinian official as scoffing at the
deal.

Another country that won't be happy will be Qatar. Qatar is still
under an air, sea and ground blockade by Sunni Arabia and UAE. The
blockade began in 2016, and attempts at mediation by Trump have
failed. However, the US has a large military naval base in Qatar, so
that relationship is important.

More to come ....

Whatever you say about Trump at least he has called the lefties out and stood head to head with them. Boris Johnson just makes out that he is conservative but in reality is more left wing than Blair. Take a look at all Boris' policies. He has no intention of stemming immigration. He wants to give amnesties. What is the point of Government and borders?

Hi John. I read your article on Microsoft and Apple and then decided to use the local virus scan (AhnLAb) and Google Chrome popped up with 1156 bits of spyware. Usually when I run a scan it numbers 7-8 bits. I scan my computer several times a day. I don't pretend to be an expert at computers, but my laptop now seems to be under some kind of surveillance attack. I am in South Korea.

I've watched parts of those hearings and it was clear to me none of the Congressmen had a clue about tech companies. Most of them have been in power for decades, long before computers and the internet were even a thing. They didn't grow up with him and many don't even use them, nor do they care, except for the campaign contributions they get. We're still thinking about oil and gas companies, big coal, titans of industry, but the world has changed. Big Tech has far more influence and they're not far from SJWs.

There's a lot of partisanship on both sides, but the true loathing is something I only see from the left. They're the ones both justifying violence and claiming left-wing violence doesn't exist. They're the ones saying all Republicans in office need to be arrested for treason (evidence this is about far more than just Trump) Some cheered the Scalise shooting and Rand Paul's assault.

10 years ago, SJWs were treated as a joke. Conservatives either mocked them for being "snowflakes" or assumed they'd moderate their views when they entered the real world. Progressives saw them as a useful tool to hurt their opposition. Now their stepchildren are about to eat them, as these lunatics increasingly take over our institutions. Far from fighting against the power structure, they are the power structure.

Bad as 2016 was, the 2020 election's going to be a lot worse. They've already declared it illegitimate. Democrats will never accept defeat on that, believing Trump has committed treason, because, after all, changing demographics was supposed to keep them in power forever. Biden's not likely to survive a full term and Kamala's essentially a black Hillary.

Over the past year, I've come to believe a civil war is a serious possibility. I never would have imagined such a thing even two years ago, but I've given up trying to predict where this will stop. It's got nothing to do with race, as I've heard commentators suggest. Those seizing power are, as a whole, white leftists who go to Ivy League schools. Our divide now is between the cities and rural areas, with the elite living in gated communities. Interesting how many Marxists come from rich families. I'm hearing more and more of them say Tea Partiers and their ilk need to be silenced at all costs, if not outright butchered. Yes, I'm aware these are mostly idiots on the internet, but when I'm seeing NYT articles calling for people to excommunicate friends and family who don't support Black Lives Matter, I find it downright chilling.

There are plenty of examples throughout history of groups like this whom people swear could never, ever take power. . . until they do and everyone's screwed. I don't think we're on the brink of mass bloodshed, at least not yet, but that's the trend line we're heading down. And I say this not as someone cheering: "All right, we'll be able to slaughter those idiots with pussy hats and dildos!" but as someone who truly fears what could happen. The necessary hatred to commit mass murder is here. I just hope nothing sets it off and this post is the mere rambling of a lunatic.
