That's why I always type things like '$230,000,000,000,000.00' instead of '$230 trillion'. It's not enough to 'show' the size of the debt, but it's an effort.

Do you see countries even existing in Europe after World War 3 or are you talking Mad Max? What will Europe look like after the next world war? I would like you to expand on this?

Also, i'm religious too, and I follow what you are saying. I just wonder if we are heading for another Noah's Ark like event (few survivors)?
I think that countries will try to exist after WW3. The problem with the socialist states is that they have done a lot to destroy the basic building block of society, the family.

Prior to socialism, we had extended families. This meant grandparents living with their children and grandchildren. Socialism and Moral Decay (manifest in divorce rates) have ended the extended family and done a lot of damage to family ties. Without familial bonds, and without government subsidies for individuals (be that social security or welfare of some kind), societies will, IMHO, fall apart.

Concerning families, I wrote about some of this in my blog:
https://comingstorms.com/family-change-part-1/

https://comingstorms.com/family-change-part-2/

Then, of course, there is the problem with people who are living entirely on state support. What do you think these people will do when they stop getting government support? They aren't just going to sit there and starve.

These two things, family disintegration and dependence on state support, put us all in "new territory" as far as the cycle goes.

Add this to what you can read about Germany or Russia at the end of World War One.
LOL, In your articles you mention that social security gives the first generations who enrolled into it a massive windfall but became increasingly a burden to later generations of enrollees. You argue, Correctly that this is unsustainable, you mention that a return to the (now destroyed) extended family unit would prevent seniors from eventually running out of money and starving on the streets. I disagree, there is another solution that cuts the dead weight which is what me and other Xers and Millies propose; which is the just let them die, after all the original social security generation has mostly died out at this point, however the postwar babies who replaced them on the rolls overspent and frittered away their savings on conspicuous consumption, indeed such sloth should not be simply rewarded, the real world doesn't act that way. Therefore redistribute money that is currently going to entitlements and send it to infrastructure spending and defense spending instead.
CH86, you need to get over your hatred and misconceptions for Boomers because you are blinded from the fact that "Millies" are NOT on your side. They want what you have too. They want socialism. They don't just want free food and lodging, free doctors, free college, free everything - they want YOUR job (and if you still have a job, they want to tax most of your earnings. If you think you pay too much for social security and medicare now, just wait until you get the bill for all the new freebies), YOUR home, YOUR savings and retirement, YOUR constitutional freedoms. Socialism is like that. They want to tell you how to run YOUR life and if you don't like the way they tell you to run it, too bad, you will have to do it anyway. You won't be able to redistribute money on infrastructure or defense, because the free stuff will devour it all. That's because they won't know the meaning of work. Everything is free, why work. After they have taken it all and leave you sitting on your butt on a street corner because they even took your speaking platform, and you see a withered old woman pointing and laughing at you, that will be me. I worked hard all my life for what I have, and what I am ENTITLED to, and I'll be damned if I let anyone STEAL it from me. Do you really want to give all your money to some snot-nosed brat who can't even make change for, much less knows the meaning of, a dollar? Apply what you said about Boomers, "just let them die," to Xers too, because that's what will happen. If you think they won't turn on you when the money gets tight, just think about how you have turned on Boomers now. What goes around, comes around.

War or no war, get out of the US. Third world migrants are taking over and they are going to steal everything via taxes or armed robbery, not to mention the violent crime and diseases they have already brought into the country. It's not racist to say this. Having lived in Latin America, I can tell you how those people think. America will become another Mexico (or Venezuela). The point is: get out now while you still can.

Where to go?
I wouldn't go to Latin America or Africa. No way.

If you have money, deposit it in Swiss bank accounts and then RENT an apartment in Eastern Europe. Now, avoid Russia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Romania, and Slovakia (unless you want to be raped and robbed). Croatia and Hungary are good, so is Poland. The Baltics are nice, but they will be probably be invaded by the Russians. Just don't put down roots. Don't brag about your money. Put $50,000 into a separate bank account and tell local government its all you have in the world. No flashy cars or watches. Don't let the locals think you have any real wealth. You'll be ok.

There are lots of wars coming to Europe.

Portugal is your best bet. Safe and isolated. No welfare, so very few 3rd world migrants.

Avoid NZ and Australia. They are flooded with Africans and other 3rd world migrants on welfare and engaged in violent home invasions, rapes, etc.

Just saying...

Thanks for your reply. Good things to consider.
You mentioned rape a lot. Never crossed my mind before.
Although you assume a level of wealth... And I have a family of 3, we are multicultural. Asian/white.
After uprooting and becoming an immigrant ourselves, then what? Try to learn the language and find 'work'?
Wars will probably bring radiation.. that's a factor regarding location.

Whites and Asians are generally not unwanted. If your spouse was black, Arab, or Pakistani, it would be an issue. It would be. It's not racist to write that.

I don't think you can escape radiation or war in a place you would want to live. Portugal probably remains your best bet. Do you really want to survive WW III but spend the rest of your life in starving and piratical Africa? Or try to survive in Brazil or El Salvador? It's best to enjoy your life until you are vaporized in a decent country.

I mention rape because people in those countries, especially Serbia and Montenegro are notorious for it. Same with Russia. Just saying.

What ethnicity is your wife?

Why would anyone move TO Russia in a WW3 scenario? That is the least safe major countries to be since it is closest to the likely front lines. Regarding europe, the further east and south you are, the less safe you would be in a major war scenario.

I suggested people not move to Russia. People who watch RT might be fooled into thinking Russia was a decent place to live.
