During the last week, China's military
took two reckless and provocative
actions, threatening America's military.

On Saturday, a Chinese warship cut
sharply in front of American destroyer
in the Taiwan Strait, forcing the
American ship to take evasive action to
prevent a collision.

Ten days ago, a Chinese fighter jet flew
directly in front of the nose of an
American reconnaissance aircraft over
the South China Sea, forcing the
American aircraft to take evasive action
to prevent a collision.

In both cases, the Americans were
performing freedom of navigation
operations (FONO) legally in
international waters, which the Chinese
Communists are illegally trying to annex
by military force.

Analysts have been struggling to explain
what the Chinese Communists are trying
to achieve with these reckless acts.
Most of them just shrug and say that
they're trying to send a message to stay
out of the Taiwan Strait and South China
Sea, both of which the Chinese are
trying to annex.

However, in my opinion, that explanation
is not credible, since that objective
will certainly not be achieved.

In my opinion, China's actions speak for
themselves. China's military wants to
provoke an actual collision, in order to
provide an excuse for military
retaliation.

What retaliation? We can only
speculate.

One possibility is that China could
invade Taiwan, and blame the invasion on
America "purposely" colliding with a
Chinese warplane or warship. This would
presumably convince other countries not
to invade on the side of Taiwan.

This would be insanity, of course, but
no more insane than Japan's bombing of
Pearl Harbor, and no more insane than
other Chinese actions, such as pursuing
military action over the other 21 border
disputes China has with all its
neighbors.

Ukraine's huge Kakhovka hydroelectric
power plant dam was destroyed by
explosives on Tuesday, flooding huge
swaths of farmland, and forcing
thousands of civilians to flee their
homes. Ukraine and Russia are each
accusing the other of sabotaging the
dam, though few in the West doubt that
this is just the latest war crime attack
by Russia on Ukraine.

This could be a major escalation in the
Ukraine war. Ukraine was just about to
begin its long-expected
counter-offensive, and the destruction
of the dam will force a postponement.
The flooding of farmland will have
worldwide impact, as grain shipments
from Ukraine will be reduced.

Another potential dangerous consequence
of the dam destruction is that it
reduces the water available to cool the
Russian-held Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant.
The director of the IAEA says that there's
no immediate danger to the nuclear power
plant.

This is a Chinese perspective of their current affairs and potential Taiwan war. It was explained well and in depth about how they'll deal with the Taiwan issue, what will precipitate war and how. But since we're right on the edge, maybe it's just something that literally becomes the last straw. Plane down or ship collision.

* Has the age-old question of whether we are alone in the universe
finally been answered? In what appears to be a well-coordinated
disclosure campaign, several knowledgeable "insiders" have
recently made public statements claiming that "ET" is real and has
been visiting Earth for decades.

* In mid-May, Stanford Medical Professor Garry Nolan caused a stir
during an innovation and investment conference hosted by the SALT
i-Connections leadership forum when he stated unequivocally that a
small group of scientists have been reverse engineering alien
technology for quite some time.

* One of the compelling things about the fifteen minute interview
in which he discussed this revelation is how careful the host,
Alex Klokus, is to frame Dr. Nolan's testimony with sober and
logical questioning, as if to guard against potential accusations
of quackery.

* In their well-sourced piece, journalists Leslie Kean and Ralph
Blumenthal detail the allegations of David Charles Grusch — a
"former intelligence official turned whistleblower" — who has
provided both Congress and the Intelligence Community Inspector
General with "extensive classified information about deeply covert
programs" in possession of "intact and partially intact craft of

* For his part, [Retired Army Colonel Karl E.] Nell wholly concurs
with [David Charles Grusch — a "former intelligence official

programs have "focused on reverse engineering technologies of
unknown origin" and "that at least some of these technologies of
unknown origin derive from non-human intelligence." He considers
this conclusion "indisputable."

* It is also true that in filing his whistleblower complaint,
Grusch has placed himself in legal jeopardy by formally attesting
that his statements are made "under the penalties of perjury."

* People are bombarded with so much government-sanctioned
propaganda and outright lies that they never know whether official
statements are true. Outside institutions — including academia
and the news media — have embraced so much "fake news" over the
years that their reputations are in no better shape. The end
result is that nobody in a position of authority is trusted or
believed.

* The "bombshell of the millennium" explodes right outside
Americans' doors, and the public largely shrugs because it
accepted an ugly truth long ago: it is constantly being deceived.
With all due respect to our extraterrestrial friends, perhaps that
is the most important news story of our time.
