That's what I meant by winning support. Hamas knows that they can't win against Israel without high-powered, modern weapons, so they're trying to get the others to send them. In order for the Middle East to send them, they have to attack Israel, prove their heart is still in the goal. What's scary is that even Hamas is holding back from what the Palestinian public want to do.And to regroup and reload, while fortifying their rocket positions.
Again, can't confirm the story of American threats to cut off aid, but it wouldn't surprise me much. Even with that, though, I do think in the next couple of years, the Israelis are going to take the final step.
