The political world can be summed up in this little anecdote:
I told my son that I would pick the girl he would marry. He said "No".
I told him that it was Bill Gates' daughter. He said "Okay".
I called Bill Gates and told him I wanted his daughter to marry my son. He said "No".
I told him my son was the CEO of the World Bank. He said "Okay"
I called the Chairman of the World Bank and told him to make my son the CEO. He said "No".
I told him my son was Bill Gates' son-in-law. He said "Okay".
And that's how politics works, the world over, including the Olympics, mi amigos
