The raw human condition is not to be admired. Kim and Maduro feast and fatten while people starve. Not just go hungry--starve. Neither nation had America's advantages gained by those who work/worked in freedom. Look at the results of suppression and ignorance.
Those with inner spirit flee to survive.
And what of America? We gave up history for indoctrination. We gave up truth for PC. We gave up justice for manipulative corruption. We are giving up freedom for acquiescence to entitlement leeches and illegal invaders.
Please ask yourself, "WHY"?
What is MY part?

Memory. Or, rather, lack thereof.

One of the "guiding principles" of GD Theory is that Living Memory is the guiding "force" behind the dynamic system that powers the cycle of "over-reaction" that ends, regularly, in genocide and regret.

I, personally, have no "living memory/knowledge" easily available to me to convey the awfulness of massive economic chaos and what "starvation" actually means.

That doesn't mean that I don't BELIEVE that such awful conditions have existed and can in future exist, even for us "evolved and intelligent" present-day people,.. but the "emotion" of "experientially believing" such things is very difficult to personally experience without "Dad and Mom" emoting, as it were, their first person experience directly into one's head/heart.

And the words of wisdom are even less "potent" if they come from Gramps and Grammie.

So, Venezuela (could) seem to me to be shear unbelievable fantasy that I can safely disregard as happening only in a far off "unreal" place that has no relevance to me whatsoever.

That is what Venezuela is to those who disregard the now-non-living memory that their parents failed to pass down to them.

Apparently, there are "enough" of those people in Venezuela to have allowed Venezuela to become Venezuela at this time.

Perhaps, there was no "memory" at all in Venezuela of chaos and starvation? I doubt that, but perhaps it's true.

Why? The promise of "Free Stuff™" trumps non-living memory of atrocity.

The promise of socialism.

Maduro is a good person, while yes his politics are clearly kooky, regarding the food situation in venezuela he is making the correct decisions though. If You brought groceries for you and your kids to eat and some homeless man started banging on your door demanding to eat your food: No sane person would just give them you hard bought and earned food; instead you would tell him the get off your property, if you had a gun you would point it at him to add emphasis.

It makes perfect sense, coming from CH.

Maduro is a good person because he is a strong tyrant who protects his "in group" and has no regard for "the peasants" who aren't on his side.

The peasants, quite obviously, should move over to "his side" and be fed, minimally, from the dumpster out back, as they deserve. And if they don't, then they are "the enemy" and must be liquidated.

Good acts are those that support the tyrants power to protect and support the internal "in crowd", and those acts that liquidate internal enemies.

And no one has a right to have any opinion, or take any action themselves, as to any actions of the tyrant within his borders.

All hail El Supremo, the Invulnerable, behind his walls.
