Frank Luntz said he had a piece of advice for Blankfein: "Delete your twitter account...it's not a good look."

And not because Luntz disagrees. It's because a billionaire slamming Sanders plays right into the candidate's rhetoric about terrified billionaires lashing out and running scared.

Another virus is now in play... well has been since Eisenhower basically more contend.

This from a CEO who oversaw Goldman’s role in the subprime crisis, the Libya scandal and 1MDB fraud, and whose pay is still suspended as the bank investigates 1MDB.

The rot is from the roots to the rotten fruit.

Amos... Though his height was like the height of cedars And he was strong as the oaks; I even destroyed his fruit above and his root below.

Flee the democrats as they offer nothing than depravity as the Uniparty claims more mired in filth.

Expect more of this going forward. Standards are ignored and regulation will vanish to save money.

The recent graduates are trained experts.

I have 2 data-points or anecdotes.

1) I run a Bitcoin ATM (see http://bitcoin.ai) and the screen broke. To get the right touch screen protocol, size, and mount I needed to order it from China where the ATM came from. They were just about to break for new years and could not get it shipped before. Now they say the government has twice extended the new year break so they have not gone back to work yet (more than a month) so have not shipped my monitor yet. They are far from Wuhan.

2) I manage the ".ai" domain name servers and use extra rugged and reliable computers. I ordered 1 from http://onlogic.com a couple weeks ago.
Nice fanless rugged machine with 4 internal SSD drives so I can make an extremely reliable 4 way mirror with ZFS all on internal drives. Normally they ship in about a week but with the Corona virus they just today switched to saying 8 weeks.

I don't really do that much in the way of business purchases, probably averaging like 1 a month. For me to have 2 problems with China makes me suspect that much of the world economy is in for big trouble.

Jennifer Nuzzo, a senior scholar at Johns Hopkins University’s Center for Health Security, testified before the House Foreign Affairs subcommittee. Respiratory viruses like the one that’s sickened more than 24,300 across the globe and killed at least 490 in China “just move quickly,” she said, according to a report by CNBC. “They [new viral outbreaks] are hard to spot because they look like many other diseases. It’s very hard to interrupt them at borders. You would need to have complete surveillance in order to do that. And we simply don’t have that,” she said.

As we said the thaw and the window into 2024 is not going to be easy.

Awareness of your surroundings is your safety. With eighty percent of the planet effectively brain dead lets be nice and
assume half are nice people.
Having a TSA breath on you doing normal times was bullshit anyways and now lethal in probability.

The Walrus as the Red Queen's bishop and the Carpenter as the Red Queen's knight.

Red Queen “It takes all the running you can do, to stay in the same place”.

Through the Looking Glass Lewis Carroll

The Red Queen Hypothesis in biology states that species continually need to change to keep up with the competition.
If a species would stop changing, it would lose the competition with the other species that do continue to change.

Tennessee Tech student (from China) became ill. The local hospital quarantined him and sent off a sample to the CDC. Before the results were made public, a friend of the family who works in medical transcription handled the records for that patient. The results came back POSITIVE. At the time, I posted about it here, and stated that, while I wasn't one to blindly trust our government, I couldn't rationalize how the CDC, TN Dept of Health, or the physicians at the hospital could get away with such a lie. tyler
