I cannot imagine a bigger diversion from core strategic goals/direction than China going after India right now.

Yet, as John points out, this is typical of the arrogance of a major power that feels it must have its "place in the sun", and that everyone else is inferior to it.

Frankly, I am VERY glad that China is doing it, as it takes resources away from other much more strategically important areas for them.

Of course, they could be trying to take care of India first, and then move on to other things.

There is just nothing that the Chinese can gain from this other than "put someone in their place", which is how giant wars can easily start.

Wait until next January!!!! The Public Unions will see massive layoffs. There Pensions will be cut. Connecticut is a Zombie State!!! They are beyond kicking the can down the road. Car jackings/home invasions/ murder/ retail theft/ robberies 🔫 this will be the new normal!!!! Our cities will be like Mad Max. We really didn't recover from 2008. They continued raising taxes because of people and businesses leaving the state. Hell is coming!!!

When the looters have to leave the burned out cities for food they will find an angry bunch of Americans they think are on their side . Not going to be the same welcome bro attitude .
As someone who lived in the Bay Area for 14 years before moving away in 2010, I have one piece of advice for those folks still living there: LEAVE.
Leave and never look back. Trust me on this. There is a whole country out there filled with affordable housing, beautiful scenery and good people whose minds haven't been polluted by Twitter nonsense or identity politics.
And for the record, now that more and more companies have discovered the benefits of remote workers and the associated cost savings, I see the California exodus accelerating in the coming years.

Republic Of CHAZ Begins Reparations; White Participants Pressured To Give Blacks $10 Each
"I want you to find, by the time you leave this autonomous zone, I want you to give ten dollars to one African American person from this autonomous zone. And if you find that's difficult - if you find it's hard for you to give ten dollars to people of color, to black people expecially [sic], you have to think really critically about - in the future, are you going to actually give up power and land and capital when you have it?

If you have a hard time giving up ten dollars, you have to think about: are you really down with this struggle? Are you really down with the movement? Because if that is a challenge for you, I'm not sure if you're in the right place.

So find an African American person. White people, I see you. I see every one of you, and I remember your faces. You find that African American person and you give them ten dollars. Cash up, venmo, ten dollars in your pocket. That's my challenge to you. Do it."
Americans have gone completely insane. You will be the first (but no the last) country to die from virtue signalling. Whatever.

Is this a struggle for equality or a shakedown?

John, what do think about Kim "Yo-Jo" making comments like she is in charge while Kim "Youngun" is still hiding or perhaps dead? There are reports that it's his double appearing in public every now and again. Would he allow her to flaunt so publicly if he was not out of the picture?

Could the Chinese be planning to attack HK, South Korea (via NK proxy), and India at the same time?

CNN is completely detached from the reality on the ground. If you watch CNN and read most online news articles, you would think that 99% of Americans now support BLM. But when I read the message boards attached to the articles, 100% of the comments are against what is going on and demand that the US Army be called in to crush the looters. Sacramento Bee is nothing but vitriol against Black Lives Matter and the media. I'm surprised the newspaper didn't delete the comment section. I know that several newspapers have. Most of the comments are posted by people using their real names. They don't fear being "cancelled". Does President Trump know how much support he really has?

I support President Trump absolutely.

The media is painting a completely false picture.

Over the past decade or so, the trend was away from the suburbs and rural areas and into the cities. Millennials have few kids and wanted to be able to walk to their yoga classes and blogging jobs we were told

Now you will see that trend reverse. Work from home will be more broadly accepted. Personal space is more important than being able to get a soy latte 1 within a block of your apartment. Cities will become more dangerous and companies leave, police budgets get slashed and cops increasingly choose to look the other way on crime, because they don’t want to be fired and prosecuted if they have to use force.

Trump is not the devil here. He did a remarkable job with the economy and can do so again. I do not regard any president as a role model! I only am interested in good policy decisions for our nation--which he has made. If Biden gets in, it will be the end of our nation. He will come to accept Socialism and we all see how badly that is working in many nations around the world.

Trump will win again. Its a choice between a better economy or disbanding the police.
