Day trading vs long-term trading are two completely different things.
Bitcoin is for trading and that's it. I have traded it on occasion. Bitcoin is dangerous garbage and I would be in it no more than a few minutes.
I don't like trading Bitcoin. But holding for years has been good to me. I expect this to continue for years to come.

When people have ridden a wave for a long time they usually expect it to continue for a long time to come. As we discussed here, I rode silver from $5 to $50 and cashed out at the exact week of the top in 2011. At that time, everyone I discussed silver with expected it to go higher, except for the one Jewish man I talked about. Or there were some people just screaming in my face that silver was going to $80, as documented here at the time. That was when I was at the dealer selling my silver.

Actually, I don't have the sense that the bitcoin bubble has broken. I believe bitcoin is going higher than the all time high of a couple weeks ago. But I'm watching it closely because I believe bitcoin will roll over before the stock market does. At least that's what happened in December 2017 and January 2018.
While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.

Partly I view my puts on S&P as a hedge protecting my Bitcoin investment. I do think that when the stock market crashes Bitcoin will go down.

Error Messages For Long-Running Programs
Ever wonder why so many Linux programs end in the letter “d”? It comes from a very old computer science term, “daemon” (pronounced demon), which comes from ancient Greek mythology—a daemon was a soulless creature created by the Greek gods to do boring, mundane work over and over. Linux daemons, like syslogd, also spend all of their time doing the same job over and over again.

For the vision is a witness for the appointed time, a testimony to the end; it will not disappoint.

The translation from German in the article is flawed. What the Austrian Government actually said is that the internet has become the sole outlet for a beleaguered people who have been robbed and violated for criminal wars based upon murder and lies whilst their homeland is inundated by hordes of low-IQ animals hell-bent upon replacing their far more advanced hosts, and that therefore the last vestige of common sense and the principles for which your forefathers fought and died must be scandalised and flushed down the toilet of history under nauseating rubrics which you are supposed to either swallow whole, or just shove up your collective arses. I lived in Europe including Austria as a young man many years ago. I hope my translation helps.

Biden's first decision in office is set to kill at least 10,000 American union jobs
Just a reminder, Biden said this to the auto workers in the auto industry:
“I ain’t working for you!”

Biden's 1st fundraiser:

Steven Cozen, founder and chairman of the union-busting law firm Cozen O'Connor.

Let that permeate your cognitive dissonance.

Plans on millions of American workers forget about former Vice President Joe Biden's longtime support of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) deal — which helped to eliminate nearly five million U.S. manufacturing jobs.

James Bennet, a liberal, was fired for publishing an op-ed by a sitting Republican senator advocating for a military response to nationwide rioting -- a position the majority of Americans agreed with. The same fate befell Philadelphia Inquirer editor Stan Wischowski, who was terminated for approving an article that condemned looting and arson.
