Column: What can you do about the Trumpites next door?

Interesting read reaveling how deep the hatred of the left is to Trump supporters. What struck me was how aware she is of their kindness, but so overwhelmeed by Trump as to disregard it.

It is not without reason that the supporters of Trumpism eagerly invoke the figure of Reagan, who was, after all, an extremely popular president, a Republican superhero, a conqueror of the Democratic Party. First, in 1980, he decisively won against Jimmy Carter, and four years later he trounced Walter Mondale, losing to him only in the capital District of Columbia and Minnesota (and that only because it was the home state of the Democratic challenger). The mark of his success was also Reaganomics - supply-side economics that, despite its many undesirable effects, revived the American economy and brought economic growth and jobs. Donald Trump wanted to be the author's improved version of Ronald Reagan, and not only did he firmly believe he would succeed, but he convinced others to do the same.

Newt Gingrich, a retired Republican speaker of the House of Representatives, tried to lay out what Trumpism is a month after winning the 2016 election during a discussion at the well-known conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation. It must be said that, unlike neophytes like Senators Ted Cruz, Mitch McConnel, and Lindsey Graham, who only converted to this ideology after the election, Gingrich believed in Trump from the beginning and, like few others, is responsible for preparing the soil on which Trumpism grew. He pioneered a partisan strategy in Congress full of name-calling, conspiracy theories, and constant obstructionism that poisoned American political culture and plunged Washington into permanent dysfunction.

LOL, Trump is gone, Washington is totally dysfunctional, and has a demented puppet as president.

Great analysis, "Critical."

Try thinking for once, it might do you some good.
