Pat Buchanan wrote in 2004: 'They are over here because we are over there.'

He was right then and he is right now.

Sometimes you just have to leave people alone. Don't pick a fight and expect not to get hit back. We got donkey punched and now we have been utterly defeated in a humiliating way. The world is sneering and laughing at us. It didn't have to be this way.

P.S. America's days as a superpower are over. At best, we will be a second rate power like the Soviet Union, and our people will live like the Soviets. Do you like fried cabbage for every meal?
Is flying planes into skyscrapers an acceptable response to us placing military bases in another country (with the consent of that country's government, btw)?
What pat Buchanan was refrerring to was America's involvement in the Middle East BEFORE 9/11. i realize you are only 19 or so, but there was American involvement in the ME for decades before 2001.
BTW, did 3000 American dead justify the mass slaughter of innocent civilians in Afghanistan? How about Iraq? How many millions died? How many were tortured?

You are losing...

You are a walking stereotype of why most of the world hates us. And they do hate us. Before 2001, America was popular in most of the world. It was the Western Europeans that bad mouthed us. Now, almost everyone does.

** 12-Sep-2021 World View: Covid spread

According to an analyst on Bloomberg TV:

Apparently the virus is going to burn through the entire world,
infecting everyone who isn't vaccinated or immune. The virus is
expected to spread dangerously during the next six months [presumably
during winter in the Northern Hemisphere].

The virus cases go up and down, and they're currently leveling off,
but that's expected to be temporary. It's expected that there will be
further variants that will spread more quickly or be more deadly, or
will be not be controlled by vaccines. The worst case scenario - and
this is rare -- is that the virus will mutate into a variant that
kills a lot of people.

Sounds like a bio-weapon run a muck.

** 12-Sep-2021 World View: North Korea long-range cruise missile tests

North Korea has announced the successful tests of new long-range
cruise missiles.

The missiles are "a strategic weapon of great significance" and flew
1,500 km (930 miles) before hitting their targets and falling into the
country's territorial waters during the tests on Saturday and Sunday,
KCNA said.

Both South Korea and Japan are within range of the new cruise
missiles, and they possibly have a nuclear capability.

North Korea has been out of the headlines recently, and this has given
hope to Pollyannas that North Korea was denuclearizing. As I've been
writing to years, North Korea is absolutely committed to producing
nuclear weapons and long-range ballistic missiles, and failure to do
so would result in the assassination of Kim Jong Un. For an analysis
of the history of North Korea's nuclear development, see the
following:

** 28-Mar-21 World View -- North Korea's ballistic missiles stoke the Denuclearization Delusion
** http://www.generationaldynamics.com/pg/ ... tm#e210328

North Korea's new missile is a long-range cruise missile, not a
ballistic missile, so it falls outside of previous agreements.
Nonetheless, it shows that North Korea's missile development is
continuing.

nuclear capability

Top dog always gets knocked. And yes, crappy leadership for extended period of time makes us humbled. We must bow our heads and be humbled. But we are proud and strong. For we are still top dog, lead by a pack of jackals. But not for long

Since you didn't bother to answer a simple question and instead resorted to mockery, I'll assume that you DO believe we deserved 9/11. Frankly, I find such a position to be absolutely vile, especially from a supposed "fellow American."

By the way, while we definitely did interfere in the Middle East prior to 9/11, you know what was bin Laden's chief grievance against us? That's right, the presence of American troops in Saudi Arabia! Bin Laden didn't care that our troops were confined to bases and not bothering anybody; he saw our troop presence to be an act of war regardless because our troops were "infidels in a holy land." So like the sick monster he was, bin Laden thought the appropriate response was to have people hijack planes and fly them into skyscrapers on our own soil!

Tell me. Do you agree with him on that? Do you agree that THAT was the appropriate response?

And ironically, it was the TREACHEROUS House of Saud, the same people who told us we could set up bases in their country, who bankrolled 9/11. Because they saw bin Laden as a useful idiot. They figured that he could rile us up into wanting to tear the whole region to pieces, while they manipulate us into taking out our anger on the wrong countries, who also happen to be enemies of Saudi Arabia. It is because of this manipulative behavior that I consider Saudi Arabia to be just as, if not an even bigger enemy than the CCP.

America has destroyed Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine. Now karma is destroying America. Soon Americans will be refugees, selling their bodies, begging for food, and pimping their children. When the Muslims are forced to do this, you don't care. See how you like it because it is about to happen to you.

Bin Laden has larger grievances than that. The Saudi soil argument led to his estrangement from the KSA and exile. 9/11 was not about US troops on Saudi soil.

P.S. Stop being hysterical.

While bin Laden certainly had other grievances, the Saudi soil argument was what drove him to begin his anti-American crusade. And while he was officially exiled, he wasn't estranged. Not behind closed doors.

The Saudi royal family is made up of 5000 princes who do not get along. Many princes are pro West, some are not. You have a simplistic view of the KSA. and you are wrong.
