After two[count em - 2!]computers knocked out. and a lag time of several hours....

I'm back in action... and the pickings are .... ripe -

following up on my decision to focus on "the Plumber" .... and noting THE SOMEWHAT ANAMOLOUS CAREER PATH of a doctor who decides to spend two decades of his working life in NAIROBI KENYA... working on AIDS INFECTION IN HETEROSEXUALS....
... the shakes are back! This transmission could end any moment.

In June 2005, Dr. Plummer and his team received $8.3 million US over five years from the Gates Foundation to continue the studies on Kenyan prostitutes and develop a potential vaccine against HIV.

messin with me of late...

The Gates operation resembles nothing so much as a massive, vertically integrated multinational corporation (MNC), controlling every step in a supply chain that reaches from its Seattle-based boardroom, through various stages of procurement, production, and distribution, to millions of nameless, impoverished “end-users” in the villages of Africa and South Asia.

Emulating his own strategies for cornering the software market, Gates has created a virtual monopoly in the field of public health. In the words of one NGO official, “[y]ou can’t cough, scratch your head or sneeze in health without coming to the Gates Foundation.” The Foundation’s global influence is now so great that former CEO Jeff Raikes was obliged to declare: “We are not replacing the UN. But some people would say we’re a new form of multilateral organization.”

The fall of the Soviet Union ushered in the present phase of public health philanthropy, characterized by the Western demand for “global health governance” – purportedly as a response to the spread of communicable diseases accelerated by globalization.

'It is in this specific context that BMGF’s intervention in the distribution of certain vaccines and contraceptives must be seen. Heavily invested in Big Pharma, the Foundation is well positioned to facilitate pharmaceutical R&D strategies tailored to the realities of the developing world, where “[t]o speed the translation of scientific discovery into implementable solutions, we seek better ways to evaluate and refine potential interventions—such as vaccine candidates—before they enter costly and time-consuming clinical trials.” In plain language, BMGF promises to assist Big Pharma in its efforts to circumvent Western regulatory regimes by sponsoring cut-rate drug trials in the periphery."

the Gates Foundation, like the MNCs it so closely resembles, seeks to manufacture consent for its activities through the manipulation of public opinion. Happily, not everyone is fooled: popular resistance to the designs of Big Philanthropy is mounting. The struggle is broad-based, ranging from the women activists who exposed the criminal activities of PATH in India, to the anti-sterilization activities of African-American groups like The Rebecca Project, to the anti-vaccine agitations in Pakistan following the revelation that the CIA had used immunization programs as cover for DNA collection....

If you are defending them, then you are either naive or corrupted.
The law of diminishing marginal utility is at the heart of the explanation of numerous economic phenomena,
including time preference and the value of goods; and it also plays a crucial role in showing that socialism is
economically and ethically inferior to capitalism.

Both the FITD and DITF techniques increase the likelihood a respondent will agree to the second request.
You are now on the perimeter of good and evil.

thread: Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa, Pakistan:

David Davenport (1996), who spent 12 years studying ancient Hindu scripts and evidence at the ancient site of Mohenjo-Daro, declared in 1996 that the city was instantly destroyed around 2,000 BC. The city ruins reveal the explosion’s epicenter which measures 50 yards wide.
At that location everything was crystallized, fused or melted. Sixty yards from the center the bricks were melted on one side indicating a blast… the horrible mysterious event of 4000 years ago was recorded in the Mahabharata.

the constraints also make for a more illiquid market overall.

No one in Congress is really anything left or right. They are all simply bought. They create a division and
a diversion, to keep your eyes off the real action. In reality, Congress does nothing but
rubber stamp military and spy budgets, and look the other way while the bankers suck from the
treasury. A few people like AOC are planted to give hope to the naïve, making them think
Congress can make a difference or that it can be an agent of positive change.
It can't.

And then get on with it. Do not try to petition them for anything, since that is just a waste of time.
Walk around them. Shun them. Bankrupt them. Do not work for them or with them.
And demand they return the quadrillions of dollars they have stolen from you and your parents and
grandparents, which they have squirreled away all over the world. That money is not on another
planet or in another dimension.

But I said here's what I think could be different in terms of market behavior. This goes with the concept of "all one market". And my thought was maybe when Tesla makes an attempt to rebound and puts in a lower high, that will top the Nasdaq 100. That brings up the question of whether we can get longer time frame divergences. Well, I think in your pointing back to that 2012 conversation the answer might be no, any divergences will be very short term.
I'm hunting an all time high in the Nasdaq 100 tonight that will never be exceeded based on the above. I believe it has a minor chance of happening.

Volumes have been lower on the SP 500 on its recent up move; so the volumes are not confirming the bullish price action. This is unusual for the SP 500.
