The price of food is driving Arab countries broke. They have to choose between dropping the yearly new Rolls and three month vacation trip away from repressive homes for the royalty, or feeding the masses. Right now they are feeding the masses, mostly, because the riots have scared the crap out of the leaders, but that won't continue much longer. Hence, there's a huge military buildup and a lot of snuggling up to China, because Chinese government frankly doesn't care if you shoot 100,000 rioters in your own country.
The election claims are already so grossly exaggerated that they make me sick. I predict a huge turnout this year for "none of the above", IOW, the difference between people who voted for Senator or Congress, but didn't cast a ballot for either party for President. A seldom tracked number, it's been growing.
