What do you think will happen if the U.S. does NOT take military action in Syria? I am confident that if the US doe not interfere with Syria very little escalation, if any, will occur. Like I say, containment is key. Syria is being attacked by the same ideology that attacked us on 9-11-01. sy Wishful thinking may be all that is left to do at this point. Escalation has only been internal with Syria. Outsiders are flocking to the region to increase the severity yes, However, as long as it is contained to Syria it will limit the damage. If and when it spills into other regions it is going to take on a life of its own. sy Just saying you're confident doesn't really answer the question. There has been continuous escalation for 2 1/2 years. I would expect that trend to continue. What reason do you have for assuming that this trend will not continue? Just saying you're "confident" sounds like a whole lot of wishful thinking to me.

It seems we are replacing the favored choice of FDR which was the communist collective for the new favored path of the muslim collective promoted by Obama, Hillary and Kerry. FDR had dozens of communist spys in his administration all of whom helped direct actions favorable to Stalin and his gang. They continued in service to the communists even after FDR was gone. And we have had the lament of "peaceful islam" and the inability to confront islam since Bill Clintons administration. Syria is the least of our muslim problem, at least they are killing jihadis of the muslim kind rather than Christians and Jews. We had better have plans for the bombing of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan before we even consider Syria. Obama is linking us up to the wrong side just as FDR linked us to the wrong side. Who killed more people, Hitler or Stalin?
