Thought this would be helpful: this is the Ebola fact sheet proved by the Public Health Agency of Canada: http://www.phac-aspc.gc.ca/lab-bio/res/ ... la-eng.php

At least some of the CDC's docs ref. this paper.

A couple of things stand out:
1. 1 -10 virus are all that is necessary to become infected - it is very virulent.
2. Viable virus remain present in male semen 7 weeks after infection - recovered patients can infect for a considerable period of time.
