While the Afrin people, at least the Kurds, may be labeled as "socialist", their posture and actions appear to be survivalist. Erdogan is the aggressor and is winning no allies. His next battle strategy determines whether or not he will join Assad in civilian slaughter. Bullets are just as effective as chemicals.
More American troops in harm's way. Whether Americans are targets or collateral damage, they are equally dead. Other nations are pursuing nationalist and aggressive strategies. When will any American administration place value on American lives? The only alliance that holds allegiance is between America and Israel. All others have become mini UN's. Time to put troops on our borders and be aware that "incoming" is a real possibility.
