The message is clear: agree with China's aggression on every level or be an enemy. The consequences of resistance are unstated. For those who have accepted high interest infrastructure development loans, confiscation is the cost. To date, overt Iranian style military retaliation has not been stated by the Chinese. However, bombers on the South China Sea manmade island is a sign of escalation intent.
