You will never run away from the "lunar/solar/Jupiter/planetary lineup tides cause earthquakes" crowd, they don't, it's easy to prove, and those people all have their hands over their ears yelling "LA LA LA LA LA" at anyone who disagrees.
Doubtless the city served by those nuclear plants would have been much better off with a large dam (or several) above the city on a river. No messy evacuations to worry about, no worries about a "three mile island incident" (nobody killed there at all, though you'll have to go look that up, the press certainly won't tell you), just one almighty FLUSH, and that's it for everyone.
