We have all been reading about China's massive pollution problem for years now.
China is buying up enormous quantities of grain on the open market, some have suggested as a stockpile for war.
It may simply be that their own crops are so horribly tainted with chemicals, heavy metals, etc that even their own
people will no longer eat it. When you see your rivers and lakes turning into rainbows of sludge and goop, even the most ignorant of
peasants will questions the safety of food grown using this as a source of irrigation.
Current TV has a pretty good show called Vanguard. Yes it is owned by the uber-goober Al Gore until just recently when he sold it to
Al J, but some of the documentaries are very well done.
There was one on the horrifying absence of indoor plumbing and toilets around the world.

that very clearly provides evidence to the
disgusting habits of people in China, India and elsewhere. These societies are experiencing unheard of population growth and the
infrastructure is not even being thought of to take care of the waste and provide clean water.
China and India are possibly where England and the USA were many decades ago during our Industrial Revolutions. We figured out how to deal with it and made
many improvements to the infrastructure and made environmental safety a priority for the safety of our people and lands. If they, China and India, had read the history of past Industrial ages they would not be making the same mistakes. I see this as evidence that GD is accurate. Reading history is not enough to
prevent it from being repeated. People are doomed to repeat it as China and India are demonstrating.
Question is: How bad will it get in these two countries before they cause a global pollution problem? (noticeable to the masses)
, How will China's increased consumption of global food and energy commodities impact the West? and
what will our dear leaders do about it?
Cheers
