Why do some people think life in Europe is impossible without the EU? Why not let it break up? I lived in Europe before and after the Euro. Before the Euro and EU, Europe functioned well. After the Euro and the EU open its borders, all I heard were complaints from everyone.

Greece would better before off in the long run with the drachma. Greeks just don't want to end up where they started in the 1970s: basically being a 3rd world country. At least they could recalibrate their economy and be independent of Brussels.
