You might be looking for John's article, "System Dynamics and the Failure of Macroeconomics Theory," from October 2006. It's linked on the home page, left-hand column, about 17 items down. It has a section near the beginning of the article entitled "Example: Savings Rate."

Analysis of Generational Savings or Spending

I don´t if this is the right forum, but I remember reading an analysis last year or the year before based on a research article where the authors stated that there was basically no generational research in their field of research. I think it was economics, and the topic of the article was investing or personal spending. Sorry that I can´t be more specific, but that´s why I haven´t found it searching for it. I would appreciate if you John, or anyone else who know what I am talking about, could link to that analysis.

Thanks,

Julle
