Re: Why Iran

The threat Iran poses is in getting nuclear weapons.

It doesn't matter if you "believe" this lie. It's categorically been shown to be a hox since they started saying it many decades ago.

The WMD lie was over Iraq. NOT Iran. Iran is very very close. Iraq was trying to get one, but the ...

Dictatorship

They .(they public)... in their opinion, no government is worse than Washington. And they would rather live under a (relatively) moral dictatorship than under an immoral democracy.

You cannot possibly think that living under the direct rule of a Putin or a Xi would be better than the US ...

Why Iran

The threat Iran poses is in getting nuclear weapons. Trump bombed them last year to try and prevent this. When we saw that they were trying to rebuild what we had bombed, and even refused our offer to provide them with enriched uranium if they stopped trying to enrich it themselves, we could see ...

Re: War with Iran

How can we win this war when a large percentage of our population sees our government as irredeemable, and not worth defending? The short answer is, we can't. So how should our government respond?

I don't see the government as irredeemable. I do see a LOT of bad actors in government, but the ...

Re: Generational Dynamics World View News

War can happen anytime. I don't want to take the bait and say "war will happen on this date". I have thought it imminent in the past, and it hasn't happened just yet, but it WILL. And soon.

I would take the precautions outlined in the book I wrote for people who visit this site. The book provides ...

War with Iran

The attacks on Iran needed to happen. The Iranian regime was never going to back down from its pursuit of nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missiles. We should have gone to war with them back in 1979 over the hostage thing, and, if not then, when they started a nuclear program. This has ...

Buildup vs Iran

The US military is redeploying serious air reinforcements (USN and USAF) to the Middle East to threaten Iran.

The US wants two things. First, and hopefully easiest, is some kind of decent treaty preventing Iranian nuclear capability. Second would be regime change.

It appears that the buildup is ...

Sick Truth about NGOs

I wanted to move on to my next topic, NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations).

Many are unaware that regular government, which actually has pretty good oversight, not to mention audits, has increasingly outsourced work, especially that of a "benevolent" nature to NGOs. These are supposedly "non ...

Supreme Court

Two of the conservative justices ruled based on the Constitution, which tried very hard to ensure the separation of powers, and, for the most part has succeeded for 250 years. As did the "middle of the road" judge, Roberts. The three liberal justices ruled based on their hatred of Trump/Republicans ...

Tariff Ruling

I am not surprised that the Supreme Court ruled against Trump's tariffs. Separation of powers is pretty clear, and the power to tax (which includes tariffs) is a power given to Congress, not the President. And Congress had not passed any laws giving the President wide latitude in setting tariffs ...
