Introductions

Post by Nathan G »

Hello, my name is Nathan, I just registered on this site.

I was born in 1994, and currently I am an undergraduate at Hood College in Frederick, MD. I am generally fascinated with generational theory, and especially enamored with Strauss and Howe's book which I've read cover to cover.

This website seems very interesting and has a lot of good information. I have always thought that Strauss and Howe's theory could be extended to other countries, but I have never possessed the resources to complete that research. It seems that this website has done that research. However, I would expect that the next logical step would be to compile that information into generational timelines like Strauss and Howe did for America and Great Britain. I assume that every country should follow the same generation-cycle paradigm, only shifted along the timeline.

Anyway, I look forward to a very stimulating experience!

Welcome to the forum, Nathan. Unfortunately, I'm not that well
organized. Several years ago I set up the "Country Studies" section
of the web site, and it was an interesting effort, but I've never kept
it up, and a lot of the entries are out of date. But there are dozens
of individual country timelines scattered throughout the web log. You
have to search for them, though. I posted the generational timeline
for Vietnam in today's World View.

If I can answer any questions, let me know.

John
