The differences are many, sadly. Spanish flu actually killed a lot of people; it wasn't a glorified flu that only hurts the out of shape and really old - causing no symptoms in healthy/young people.

Americans had an identity at that time (Christian, European). Families were stronger. Tech hadn't corrupted anything. Beyond that, indebtedness wasn't a huge thing and future opportunities weren't bleak. Propaganda wasn't at an all time high.

For those reasons, I don't see any millenial providing an outlet for a new America. Rather, the world capital moves to where it is appreciated, and where women are better (not spoiled, fat, etc).

There certainly are some similarities in this situation, but that's about it. We seem to have more advanced science, but since people are more individualistic than ever, it's also different. In most cases from what I can tell people were poorer and didn't have much knowledge as we have now. On the other hand people get vaccinated to... attend cultural events, concerts etc. It's not even mostly about safety or health, but accepting the terms no jab = no concert for you.

All of the above. Plus a lot of people never think their government would commit evil. There are lots of causes but too many to cover in a short reply. I have also noticed here in Australia that our governments talk about wars: war on salt, obesity, speeders, drunk drivers, pensioners, people who mainly use cash for transactions, coal use, natural gas, the list goes on.

Yes, it is in large part because, I've noticed, people just don't want to believe something that elicits a negative emotional reaction. Why so few people value the truth over this (emotional thinking/drive, a feminine trait) is the most disturbing, but goes to show why we are in such difficult times. They think they are preserving themselves but in reality, they are agreeing for others to continue to abuse them by denying what is going on. Honestly, it was big-tech that has lead to so many finally seeing the truth. God makes good out of everything. YouTube has turned into a cesspool of propaganda, but at one time it was a good location to hear dissenting voices. Prior to the connected world we live within the only means for mass communications was the nightly news. They pushed their agendas and manipulated the people through programming and they continue to do it today. However, many of us have tuned out from MSM sources because we have found alternative ways to spend our time. As such, their programming is wearing off and we are starting to see the light while those that stay glued to the talking box on the wall comply.

Yes, the problem is that we have a society hooked on materialism, so many don't WANT to believe anything but the lies. Another part of the generational crisis, which is boomers and older not wanting to admit the truth because they are entitled to "muh benefits" most acting like children even though they lived in the greatest most prosperous time in any place in the history of the world.
