Re: Societal collapse
Everyone on this forum needs to watch this (maybe before it goes away). I don't see how Fox continues to get away with putting the truth out there.

I have a software package called Camtasia. I can make a copy of this tomorrow, in case it gets taken down after that.
All True.
The funny thing is that if the Chinese would just put off war by 20 years, we would be a pushover due to all of this. But, the bad guys always get to eager and "jump the gun", starting a war and causing a backlash to all of their influence efforts.
Unfortunately for us, the patriotic segment of our population will be decimated by the war. Afterwards, there will be many fewer to deal with the looney left and cultural implosion.

The short term has a way of making the long-term obsolete. Time may not be on China's side the way it might appear.
They're only beginning to find out how badly they've screwed themselves with their one-child policy. They might have ended it, but the damage is done. China's got one of the fastest aging population in the world. Their median age is higher than ours and their fertility rate hovers around 1.3. The gender ratio is around 130 boys to 100 girls among the under-30 population.
You've got tens of millions of young men with no job prospects, no marriage prospects, or any hope for sexual partners at all. That's not a good recipe of societal stability. That's on top of a slowing economy, crushing debt, and a world's that's become a lot more hostile to them. Taiwan's not going to join them willingly, and Japan's modernizing their own forces.
I've always expected they'll attack once they decide they're as strong as they're ever going to be with respect to Japan, India, and the United States.

M:F ratio is everything - only low ratios create a selection pressure to keep women in check - on all levels too.
Ever wonder why nearly all modern policies are young ("minority") men flowing illegally into "modern" countries? I wonder who could be pushing that agenda ...

If inflation keeps roaring, and people are also threatened to be kept out of jobs for whatever tyrannical reason, BTC becomes the ultimate freedom play (or other privacy cryptos) - a required asset to have. Many legacy people on this board just don't understand this, and it is a sad phenomenon.
The internet depends on undersea cables that could easily be destroyed by natural or man made forces.

Re: Societal collapse
You speak as if fluctuations in the sex ratio are a bad thing. They are a good thing. Low ratios keep women in check and high ratios keep men in check.Cool Breeze wrote: ↑Fri Dec 31, 2021 9:36 pmGood post.Trevor wrote: ↑Fri Dec 31, 2021 5:42 pmThe short term has a way of making the long-term obsolete. Re: Societal collapse
That would seem to be the case but what drives civilization is incentive for men to keep it up, which means on balance there is far more need for women to be in check (young, fertile, beautiful) in order for men to work hard. Otherwise, it falls since women frankly don't have an interest in doing the necessary things (nor can they physically or capably do them) that everyone takes for granted (infrastructure - building, sewage, running water, etc).
The larger proof of this is that men are "in check" right now but women are unhappy as ever, medicated, and less fulfilled (in the western world).

Re: Societal collapse
When the sex ratio is in favor of men, what men do with the power that gives them matters. If they cheat on their wives with excess younger women, abuse their wives, neglect their children, they will lose the loyalty of their women and that power will be lost.Cool Breeze wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 4:34 pmThat would seem to be the case but what drives civilization is incentive for men to keep it up, which means on balance there is far more need for women to be in check (young, fertile, beautiful) in order for men to work hard. Re: Societal collapse
Of course it does.
That's why genes and religion matter, to boot.
The larger point that is still being missed is that the recklessness of a leftist society without religion and with excess males has led to the absolute worst of all scenarios (women cheating, stealing and getting more white knights and government mercenaries to help them).

Re: Societal collapse
The worst of all scenarios is Navigator's scenario. Instead of the worst excess males being killed off, the best excess males are killed off. If that scenario takes place, we are in deep trouble indeed.
