Another interesting thing about the chart above is the midpoint of the 666 low in 2009 and the recent 4930 high is about 2800. The S&P spent over 2 years gyrating around that 2800 midpoint with a lot of symmetry around it.
While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.

** 30-Jan-2024 World View: Hovel layoffs

This story is very depressing, but
unfortunately with the rise of AI the
massive layoffs are only just starting,
and will affect almost every company in
every industry.
The message board comments point to managerial idiocy. AI doesn't appear able to replace the top engineers they have laid off. Why are they gutting their own corporation?
I've asked someone to get into contact with my cousin to get his opinion on the reasons for this layoff. My initial reaction was maybe it was some kind of realignment having to do with electric vehicles needing a different mix of products.
In November 2023 NXP offered my cousin a voluntary retirement package - VRP. He had until late December to decide whether to take it and he decided to take it. I verified that the terms of the retirement package were 6 months of severance pay and his COBRA will run out 18 months after his last day. I am unsure for how long, but the company will pay part of the 18 months. After he decided to take it, the company sent him a letter verifying the offer and its terms, accepting the date of his proposed last day, as stated earlier, which had to be before the end of 2024. One day after he received this letter, the layoffs were announced. Some departments will close down end of first quarter and some will close down end of second quarter. Most employees will not have any say about when their last day will be. They have either been escorted out or given a date. The departments he is referring to are apparently in Arizona where he works. Prior to all of this, my cousin had been making a lot of trips to Asia and was speculating that he may have been training his replacements. I was not told which country or countries in Asia. No direct reason was given by him for the layoffs.

USYesterday the glib pressitute says sell all and go full MAGA since the Don will save you.
We are approaching another Irving Fisher moment. Some can understand Minski also.
The bias flip from the run up not ignored as structural inflation leaves more behind and those who never did
make it back. I will take some time to locate the rate of structural inflation needed then for them to even survive
to pretend to service the debt other than the MMT cult accolades like the glib rule 18 presstitute.
We had that discussion here H.
At this point I will listen to Dimon as the Hookers to be set on fire that cannot service the debt so they
can explain the Utility Theory to us. March sweeps will be interesting so stay frosty into the x event also.
We will chill in utwo and tlt also as indicated in tbill with very select with none of 270 skanks of retarded equity
that funded burn lot murder on the backs of the bruised and broken. On a clear note Professor Deming covered what
your Cousin will now go through. What this looks like is the CCP of SOE are neck deep in it.

The 3-nanometer chips and above are the issue as we read going forward.

Have him look for jobs in East Asia or Canada. I know someone who got a job with a semi conductor company there, and she was only 24. A lot of countries are trying to create their own semi conductor companies right now.

He's not going to work again. One of the reasons I posted that was to show what a crappy retirement package he got. When my father retired early in 1991, he got the following retirement package:

1. Bridge to Social Security. 4 years of full social security payments in a lump sum.
2. Lump sum payout. I don't remember the exact number or method but it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 years of salary. It may have been one month for every year worked. That used to be the standard.
3. Top medical plan for him and my mother for life. When my mother got cancer 10 years after he retired, everything was paid at the treatment facility of her choice.

A dollar when he retired is worth $2.25 or so today. His lump sum payout was around $250K plus the medical, or around $560K in today's dollars. My cousin got a tiny fraction of that. In the early 1990s, even GM hourly line workers got better buyouts than my cousin got.
While the periphery breaks down rather slowly at first, the capital cities of the hegemon should collapse suddenly and violently.

They’d rather protect illegal aliens than our seniors.

What sickens me to my core about the Housing issue is that all my ancestors that I know of, including my parents, got their own place around my age (or even before). Now, I have almost 0 prospect whilst literal invaders get it for free or have extra help.

NPCs, idiots, and the corrupt rave on about building more houses like our island stretches the entire globe. The countryside means nothing to them yet I go there to literally heal from the trauma of urban spaces.

Invaders must be sent back. That will free up many cities for the normies. Only then I can have a hut in the countryside for a reasonable price.

Sorry for the rant lol, but it feels like a stab in the heart sometimes.

Firms during COVID shed real estate nationally and went regional hub buildings and got rid of remote workers to build up the last regional nodes.
2024 business sales projections are baseline and shedding people and few positions hired for. It's the deep breath before the plunge as credit
markets to decide the obvious footing now here. The chart since 1972 ignored tell you what you ignore anyways.

Since the Transfer payments to reduce inequality cults ask yourself why was Kondratieff subjected to a second trial during Stalin’s Great Purge and sentenced to another ten years of incarceration. However, the 10-year sentence was pointless, as he was executed by a firing squad on the same day he was sentenced. A year later, the wave cycles were renamed as “Kondratieff Waves” in his honor.
The current data prints are demanded, and you are reminded we warned you of political smoothing early.
Call it canceled into structural inflation and the fact contracts will be eliminated to maintain the node structures as parallel survival structures. You will never listen anyways so vote harder. Father Martin warned you back then to the focus already then as what. To this day you hire one half to negate the other as Gould posited. Taxpayers have learned nothing and the Uniparty direction is clear. The ones holding the fire hose are a feature if you approach the ladder.
