The connection between the Communist regimes of China and California is real. Corruption and incompetence.
A report published by the Naval News on Friday that China is building a fleet of barges suitable for amphibious landings amid fears of a Taiwan invasion.
https://www.newsweek.com/china-fleet-ba ... on-2013519

Communist China is preparing for something but we don't know what. And "invasion" of Taiwan is already ongoing through many methods. If they need landing barges it's because they'll have bombed all currently available ship landing areas and will be anticipating the beginning of rebuilding after the " hellscape" scenario that destroys everything.

In Palisades, the area is zoned R1, single house only per lot. Newsome and the Palisades council were in talks about converting the area to R3, large apartment buildings to adhere to the 2030 goal of eliminating single family homes in line with 15 minute cities. Insurance companies were notified several months ago and the Insurance companies withdrew from the Palisades by terminating home owner policies. Water was denied because Newsome and the local council wanted all the family lots vacant. Many of the people burnt out will not be able to rebuild. No insurance and no money coming from the feds, just like Maui, Tenn/NC and Florida.

Expect developers now to offer to buy the Palisade lots for pennies on the dollar.

Many of the houses in Malibu on the beach were also targeted in a similar manner. The greens have wanted those houses off the beach in Malibu and no doubt contributed substantially to the wipeout of the beach houses and probably other parts of Malibu. Conditions were ripe in LA for devastating fires. All planned out months ago. CCP has nothing to do with this. Rather, LA county and the state governor's office mad arrangements for a wipeout of families to adhere to the 2030 motto of "you will own nothing and be happy".
Most local and state politicians are deeply involved with real estate developers. This is where the serious money in local politics is. And rezoning plays a key role in those schemes.

However, actually starting the fires is NOT a good idea politically. These fires will end the political careers of many local politicians, if not state level as well. These people are certainly "in the hot seat" as not only their incompetence is now widely understood, but they have also endangered the lives and property of the electorate. People tend to not forget that.

The insurance companies were indeed cancelling homeowners policies across wide areas of California. They did so especially in light of what they found out as a result of the Paradise fire in California in 2018. Environmentalists in California have stopped any kind of rational fire prevention in the forests. From what I have read, there is twenty times (yes, 20 X) the amount of brush and tinder on the floors of California forests as there should be. The insurance companies sent out investigators and found what areas were at extreme fire risk, and then repriced policies to reflect that (saw one instance where the coverage went from $4.5k/yr to $18k/yr) or cancelled policies for entire areas.

Along these lines, I read that the LA Power and Water company wanted to replace aging wood power utility poles and towers in the forests around the Pacific Palisades but was stopped by the California Environmental Agency when a hiker complained that the power company's activities were hurting Brauton's Milk Vetch bushes. See this article from 2019 that shows typical leftist one sided reporting on the issue:
https://lasentinel.net/investigations-c ... lants.html
Note that all of the red legged frogs and milkvetch bushes are now literally toast. Fun fact - milkvetch plants thrive in burned over areas. Unintended Irony.

Getting back to the real estate developer thing. I have no doubt that now that the fires have occurred, local politicians and real estate developers will work together to swoop in and make a killing, most likely using the rezoning ploy mentioned above.

Vote for incompetent crooks to run things, and this is exactly what you get. PS - no state is immune to this, its just that metropolitan California is just so ripe for this, given that leftists control the entire government at every level.

Yes, the Chinese construction of these specialized landing craft, who have a single purpose (see article and below), means that the CCP definitely is intent on invading Taiwan in the near future. This is an early warning flag.

Note that they already have the troop, cargo and heavy equipment carrying capacity in their "civilian" fleet of ferries. The new barges are to facilitate offloading of these cargos across difficult terrain or obstructed beaches.

https://www.news.com.au/technology/inno ... 9e791dc0e4

From the article:
The Naval News report analysis of satellite photos indicates the new barges carry a 120m long bridge, braced by a tower and high-tension cables.

At the other end of the barge is a loading platform that can allow other ships or landing craft to dock. And several of the barges appear to have pylons that “jack up” the vessel from the sea floor to turn it into a stable harbour platform even in rough seas and strong winds.

“In operation, the barge would act as a pier to allow the unloading of trucks and tanks from cargo ships,” Sutton explains.

“This allows China to pick new landing sites and complicate attempts to organize defences. Instead of relying on Taiwanese ports, China can now sail its own mobile port across the straits.”

What makes these new barges so important is the ruggedness of Taiwan’s coast. Those few beaches that do exist have long been filled with steel spikes and tank-traps, and can be mined with explosives as tensions escalate.

The extreme reach of the barges’ bridges means Chinese forces can cross to the shore at sites previously regarded as unsuitable for invasion forces.

China is not going to invade Taiwan without attacking the U.S.

Why would the CCP begin the war with Taiwan when they know the real war is going to come down to fighting the U.S.?

Hitler wrote about invading the Soviet Union in his book. Its likely nobody took him seriously when he said what he was going to do and it will be no different this time.

China has specifically said starting the war with Taiwan will be a mistake when they know they will just end up fighting the U.S. anyway.

From Chi Haotian's speech:

https://jrnyquist.blog/2019/09/11/the-s ... i-haotian/
Now, it seems like we are in the same critical period as the “horses were drinking water” in the Yangtze River days in the revolutionary era, as long as we resolve the United States problem at one blow, our domestic problems will all be readily solved. Therefore, our military battle preparation appears to aim at Taiwan but in fact is aimed at the United States, and the preparation is far beyond the scope of attacking aircraft carriers or satellites.
Nonetheless, Germany was defeated in utter shame, along with its ally, Japan. Why? We reached some conclusions at the study meetings of the Politburo, in which we were searching for the laws that governed the vicissitudes of the big powers, and trying to analyze Germany and Japan’s rapid growth. When we decide to revitalize based on the German model, we must not repeat the mistakes they made.

Specifically, the following are the fundamental causes for their defeat: First, they had too many enemies all at once, as they did not adhere to the principle of eliminating enemies one at a time; second, they were too impetuous, lacking the patience and perseverance required for great accomplishments; third, when the time came for them to be ruthless, they turned out to be too soft, therefore leaving troubles that resurfaced later on.

Let’s presume that back then Germany and Japan had been able to keep the United States neutral and had fought a protracted war step by step on the Soviet front. If they had adopted this approach, gained some time to advance their research, eventually succeeded in obtaining the technology of nuclear weapons and missiles, and launched surprise attacks against the United States and the Soviet Union using them, then the United States and the Soviet Union would not have been able to defend themselves and would have had to surrender. Little Japan, in particular, made an egregious mistake in launching the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor. This attack did not hit the vital parts of the United States. Instead, it dragged the United States into the war, into the ranks of the gravediggers that eventually buried the German and Japanese fascists.
When viewed from this perspective, the events of the last 6 years start to make sense:
To resolve the issue of America we must be able to transcend conventions and restrictions. In history, when a country defeated another country or occupied another country, it could not kill all the people in the conquered land because back then you could not kill people effectively with sabers or long spears, or even with rifles or machine guns. Therefore, it was impossible to gain a stretch of land without keeping the people on that land. However, if we conquered America in this fashion, we would not be able to make many people migrate there.

Only by using special means to “clean up” America will we be able to lead the Chinese people there. This is the only choice left for us. This is not a matter of whether we are willing to do it or not. What kind of special means is there available for us to “clean up America”?

Conventional weapons such as fighters, canons, missiles and battleships won’t do; neither will highly destructive weapons such as nuclear weapons. We are not as foolish as to want to perish together with America by using nuclear weapons, despite the fact that we have been exclaiming that we will have the Taiwan issue resolved at whatever cost. Only by using non-destructive weapons that can kill many people will we be able to reserve America for ourselves. There has been rapid development of modern biological technology, and new bio-weapons have been invented one after another. Of course, we have not been idle, in the past years we have seized the opportunity to master weapons of this kind. We are capable of achieving our purpose of “cleaning up” America all of a sudden. When Comrade Xiaoping was still with us, the Party Central Committee had the perspicacity to make the right decision not to develop aircraft carrier groups and focus instead on developing lethal weapons that can eliminate mass populations of the enemy country.
We must prepare ourselves for two scenarios. If our biological weapons succeed in the surprise attack, the Chinese people will be able to keep their losses at a minimum in the fight against the United States. If, however, the attack fails and triggers a nuclear retaliation from the United States, China would perhaps suffer a catastrophe in which more than half of its population would perish. That is why we need to be ready with air defense systems for our big and medium-sized cities. Whatever the case may be, we can only move forward fearlessly, for the sake of our Party and State and our nation’s future, regardless of the hardships we have to face and the sacrifices we have to make. The population, even if more than half dies, can be reproduced. But if the Party falls, everything is gone, and forever gone.

An interview between Jeff Nyquist and Lude Media on 6/24/24.

This interview was about 6 months away from the drone sightings on the east coast that came up in the mainstream media that began in November 2024.

https://www.fox5ny.com/news/ny-nj-drones-timeline-2024

https://jrnyquist.blog/2024/06/25/lude- ... -war-plan/
24 June Interview With Lude
NYQUIST: I understand you have information on a new Chinese weapon? What is its name?

LUDE: It is not so new, but it is relatively new to the CCP. It is a drone weapon, with supersonic [correction of translation] capabilities. There are several versions of this drone. It is being tested in China at the Malan Military Base [Editor’s note: The Xinjiang Malan base is the twenty-first experimental training base of the General Armament Department. It has been described as the cradle of Chinese secret weapons development].

These drones are designed to carry out various missions. Some can travel at supersonic speeds. They are not piloted by humans. They are piloted by AI. There is also a central control system for coordinating drone attacks. [Editor’s note: The concept of central control is important because it allows for the control of all drones, during an operation, through an AI slave system. In this way all drones operate as bounded AI. Variations of this system may be technically described as follows: (1) Human in the Loop (HITL), (2) Human on the Loop (HOTL), and (3) Human Out of the Loop (HOOTL). Lude seems to be saying the drones operate on the bases of HOTL or HOOTL.]

The operational concept for these drones includes nuclear strikes against American bases. [Editor’s note: I interpret this to mean that China is contemplating a massive first strike drone operation to eliminate America’s nuclear deterrent].

NYQUIST: Some of these drones will carry nuclear weapons?

LUDE: Yes. Some of the drones can carry out nuclear attacks. The PLA is currently examining the weaknesses of U.S. military bases. Regarding the tactics, this drone must be able to take off quickly and strike quickly. The primary target will be U.S. bases. Some of these drones are hypersonic because speed is essential in attacking bases which have nuclear weapons or targets that have anti-missile defenses. The drones are specialized according to mission target.

At present they are training the Artificial Intelligence (AI), so that these drones can perform their missions without human controls. These drones must learn how to evade radar by flying very low using high speed. All these tactics must be learned by the AI. They have a toolkit of AI training software. That toolkit is the core of the training for the drone.

NYQUIST: How big are these drones and what kind of range do they have?

LUDE: The takeoff weight is 1200 kilograms for one model. There are various models for various missions. The toolkit of the software is like a brain. The drone is not as important as the software.

NYQUIST: The software is what makes the drone dangerous?

LUDE: The most essential part is the AI toolkit. That is controlling the drone’s attack, determining the drone’s mode of attack. That toolkit can be installed into many kinds of drones which can be imported into the U.S. and used to attack. Their goal is to create a weapon system that is difficult to defend against.

NYQUIST: If I understand correctly, you are suggesting the CCP strategists intend to smuggle these drones into the United States for a future attack?

LUDE: Yes. Drones could be smuggled into the U.S.

NYQUIST: How many drones are they planning to make?

LUDE: Over 150,000 drones. In addition, they will also build inferior “silver” versions to sell abroad, which will earn money for the manufacturer thereby lowering the cost of China’s production of the high-end drones.

NYQUIST: Do you know anything about the nuclear warheads intended for use with these drones?

LUDE: We have no information on the warhead specifications. If you pay attention to China National Aviation exhibition several years ago, they showed a drone that can fly Mach 3. You can check on this. The engine of that drone was developed by Northwestern Politechnical University at Xi-an in Shaanxi Province. It is important to emphasize that most of the AI high-tech developments in China are being set to target the U.S.

NYQUIST: What specific targets in the U.S. are the highest priority?

LUDE: They have a database which includes military bases, transformer substations, radar stations. Drone AI’s will be trained to strike such targets. They are continually updating their target data base. China maintains agents near all critical targets to keep them under observation so that the AI is constantly updated with the latest information and detail. This is why spies taking photographs of bases is of great importance.

NYQUIST: Are any of these drones able to return to their launch point for refueling and to reload with weapons.

LUDE: Most of the drones are suicide drones. They will not be returning.

NYQUIST: In your knowledge, has China ever worked to develop a Red Mercury nuclear device?

LUDE: We have no information on this.

NYQUIST: The takeoff weight of these drones being 1200 kilograms, the payload capacity must be in excess of 200 kilograms. This is too large for a micro-nuclear warhead that is under 75 kilograms. Can you explain why the payload is so large? [Editor’s note: My suggestion here is that these drones could be designed to carry strategic nuclear weapons of 100-kiloton yield or more.]

LUDE: Some of these drones will carry a conventional explosives.

NYQUIST: Most American bases are thousands of miles from China. Will China be launching these drones from submarines, warships, or shipping containers off merchant ships?

LUDE: They want to move these drones to farms located near military bases in the U.S. If they can push this drone into the American market, they could legally import thousands into the United States and store them in warehouses. They can also smuggle them into the U.S. in separate pieces and assemble them at special locations. This is an ideal first strike weapon because it has a radar profile similar to a small bird.

NYQUIST: Do you know how big the drones are?

LUDE: We have no specifications of actual size.

NYQUIST: When do you expect to see these drones deployed?

LUDE: Currently they are still doing air training. They would like to do something before the election to disrupt the election.

NYQUIST: So they are within months of deployment?

LUDE: This supersonic nuke-carrying model is the hardest to train, in terms of AI configuration. Other models are easier to train and deploy. We do not know, but other models may be ready sooner.

NYQUIST: I want to thank you for discussing this with me.

LUDE: Thank you.

Its going to be hard to tell the difference between unrestricted warfare attacks by the Chinese against the incompetence and stupidity coming from our own institutions.

https://jrnyquist.blog/2024/04/19/strat ... nt-page-1/
JRN: On reading the book, Unrestricted Warfare by colonels Qiao and Wang, I noticed they were advancing a strong CCP disinformation narrative; namely, that nuclear weapons are obsolete and China has no interest in building them. But now we find that China is building nuclear weapons rapidly, so that China may overtake the U.S. in the next two years. What do you say to this?

LUDE: Of course, the CCP is rapidly developing nuclear power and weapons. They do not expect to use nuclear weapons because their true purpose is to employ unrestricted warfare. Basically, you cannot respond to attacks which are deniable. China is, for example, working on a dirty bomb. They try and use low-level nuclear weapons for disruption purposes.

JRN: Many analysts here in the West are concerned about Chinese young men of military age crossing the U.S. border illegally. Is the CCP placing special forces in the U.S. secretly? Are they doing this in preparation for a future war, or is it merely in preparation for sabotage operations?

LUDE: I have talked about this since January 2023. The CCP is trying to infiltrate 250,000 military personnel into the United States. They want these people in place when the war begins – to attack water systems and military bases.

JRN: How many of these 250,000 military personnel sent to the United States as infiltrators are expected to remain loyal to the CC? If they are left here too long, won’t they be corrupted by the American way of life?

LUDE: If you betray China, you get serious punishment. First, they control who gets out of China and who goes to America. They have hostages back in China. If they smell any betrayal, you can suffer the effects of Party discipline. So, under such a strict system, it is very hard to break free. The entire operation to infiltrate America with troops is carefully organized. It is organized around a kind of Ho Chi Minh Trail for China, as in the Vietnam War. This Ho Chi Minh Trail runs through Mexico to the U.S. border.

JRN: Don’t the Chinese strategists worry about Chinese defectors from the 250,000 going over to the Americans and exposing the entire plan? What makes them so confident and bold as to try something so dangerous?

LUDE: First, 250,000 is a large number. Think of various cities in the United States. They have batch after batch of troops infiltrating America’s southern border. These troops will not show themselves openly in the USA. So, the Americans will not notice. Their mission is to force the U.S. to lose control over its own society. As long as government control is broken, the dollar system will be crushed. The key thing is to create chaos on U.S. soil. Unless you defeat the dollar system, which backs up the American military, you have no chance.

But Mr Shirley said: "Based on all my research, I believe that neither Roosevelt nor anybody in his government, the Navy or the War Department knew that the Japanese were going to attack Pearl Harbour. There was no conspiracy.

"This memo is further evidence that they believed the Japanese were contemplating a military action of some sort, but they were kind of in denial because they didn't think anybody would be as audacious to move an army thousands of miles across the Pacific, stop to refuel, then move on to Hawaii to make a strike like this."

As with the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2001, US leadership was guilty of a "failure of imagination" in its inability to translate warning signs into a specific prediction of the horror that lay ahead, he said.

Roosevelt declared war on Japan the day after the blitz on Pearl Harbour. Japan, Germany and Italy reciprocated with their own declarations, but America's involvement in the war turned the tide against the Axis powers and ultimately led the Allies to victory.

Americans, who a year previously had been assured by Roosevelt that they would not be sent to fight foreign wars, suddenly found their fates transformed. The US military swelled, with 16 million heading off to war, and women took on new and more widespread roles in the workforce, and in the military.

Washington became a global power base and the War Powers Act gave the president supreme executive authority. The "America First" movement, which had lobbied against the country's entry into the war and at its peak had 800,000 members, disbanded within days.

"December 7, 1941, was the powder-keg that changed the world. It changed America instantly from an isolationist country on the morning of December 7 to an internationalist country on the morning of December 8," said Mr Shirley.

‘Chinese people’ blamed for Yoon’s impeachment at ruling party’s rallies in South Korea

Critics accuse Yoon Suk-yeol’s People Power Party of unfairly fanning Sinophobia to deflect criticism from the impeached president
Two lawmakers from Yoon’s conservative People Power Party (PPP) sparked controversy by claiming that Chinese residents in South Korea were openly supporting rallies calling for Yoon’s impeachment.

“Chinese people are at the forefront everywhere, supporting impeachment,” PPP lawmaker Kim Min-jeon said at a pro-Yoon rally near the president’s residence last week.

“This impeachment movement reveals its true nature. The essence of this fight is whether we can preserve our liberal democracy or lose it. We must unite to stop them.”

Yoon has remained in his residence near the Han River in Seoul since he was impeached by the National Assembly on December 14, resisting summons and attempts by investigators to arrest him for questioning over his short-lived declaration of martial law on December 3 – widely characterised as a botched self-coup attempt.

China Advances Territorial Claim Against US Ally
China has installed a new structure in sensitive waters near a disputed maritime boundary with South Korea, sparking fears that Beijing may exploit Seoul's ongoing political crisis to assert territorial claims.

Newsweek reached out to the Chinese Foreign Ministry and South Korean Coast Guard with emailed requests for comment.
The area in question lies within the Provisional Measures Zone, established in 2001 to manage disputes over overlapping exclusive economic zones (EEZs) between the two countries. The agreement prohibits constructing facilities or exploiting resources other than fishing, pending a permanent boundary resolution.
South Korea has long raised concerns about Chinese fishing vessels operating illegally within its EEZ, which extends 200 nautical miles (230 miles) from its coastline and grants sole rights to natural resources.

China's latest move follows its assertive activities in other regional EEZs, including the waters of Japan and U.S. ally the Philippines, raising broader tensions in the region.

I have recently watched a couple of extremely informative videos on the situations in Syria and Iran/Pakistan/Afghanistan that provided a lot of insight into what is going on here. They are on youtube and are from "CaspianReport".

The first explains the collapse of the Assad regime in Syria, and the current multi-party situation.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9k5JhKK6WlA

The second explains the conflict between the Afghan Taliban / Pakistan / Iran and its implications.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVNBmK7a1y8&t=144s

The third explains the current dire situation inside Iran, and how its failing infrastructure is at a critical point.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qMDM4Y4Hwo

A larger picture implication of all of these issues is that it could cause China to accelerate its timetable. It needs Iran, Pakistan, and Russia as allies to enable it to tie up US and Western strength while it handles things in Asia. China knows it cannot go it alone, even in the short term, in efforts to take Taiwan, let alone go after Japan.

Trumps declared policy of tarrifs has also caused them to realize they do not have much time before complete economic implosion (which is already underway in China).

If China truly believed their military was unstoppable, they could sink all our ships without us being able to strike back, overwhelm us with production, as the Wumaos like to claim, they would have launched their assault on Taiwan long ago. The war in Ukraine has taught us the difference between paper strength and actual combat capability.

However, as Navigator mentioned, they might not have a choice. One reason Japan attacked Pearl Harbor when they did is: they were as strong as they were ever going to be with respect to the United States. The longer they waited, the more imbalanced against them things would be, and since they saw war as inevitable... best strike while you have a chance. Hitler attacked the Soviet Union in June 1941 for a similar reason.

Their official economic growth is around 5%, far below what it was a decade ago, and numerous economists have claimed their actual growth rate is close to zero. Their birth rate is lower than Japan and unlike Japan, they're getting old before they get rich; I suspect their population has been considerably overcounted. As many problems as we have, China's worse off. Their moves and statements with regard to Taiwan are growing more and more hysterical by the day.

I hold a great deal of skepticism at the idea of China having hundreds of thousands of soldiers waiting in the United States as sleeper agents, given that would require every immigrant from China over the last 25 years to be one, and not having us notice a single thing. I'm far more concerned about a cyberattack, given the damage they've already managed to do in that regard.
XXXXXXXXXX

As much as I dislike Trump, I think he'll be better able to confront China than Kamala would have. The Democrats continue to double down on identity politics, even though it's driving away actual minorities; it plays well to wealthy, white liberals since it allows them to feel good about themselves. He's beginning to realize he can't end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours, contrary to the campaign trail, and abandoning them would not only make us look weak, it'll make him look bad.
