Much of what we see and hear is heavily curated narrative bullshit. With so much of what is said being fake for so long, I believe I have gotten better at spotting the real things. When Walmart and McDonald's start taking hits, it means that a lot of real people are making actual changes to their daily life.

And, I just saw that Zelensky took time out of his busy war-fighting schedule to do a photo shoot with his wife for Vogue magazine. THAT tells me a lot of what I need to know about Ukraine.
