Last week, Vladimir Putin appointed a
new top army general to command all the
Russian forces in Ukraine. The new
general had previously bin in charge of
Russia's forces in Syria.

It feels like the Russian invasion of
Ukraine has taken a new escalatory turn
in the last two days, Thanks to the
bombing of the Kerch Strait bridge ,
and Russia's Retaliatory response ,
which has been massive missile and
artillery attacks On civilians, women
and children in multiple cities across
Ukraine , without mercy.

I believe we should now expect to see a
repeat of the tactics used by the
Russians in Syria , including barrel
bombs , chlorine gas , and sarin gas
. Bees are the same ethnic cleansing and
population clearing methods that Putin
used in Chechnya and Syria , and I don't
doubt that he would use them again if
threatened with loss in ukraine.

The POCs/ illegals/ trans are all dead weight, and dangerous dead weight to boot.
All good people will help others. Every group has some bad apples everyone knows. But in difficulty differences will meld to a common cause. That's the Regeneracy. All groups will unite. That's the name of our country.
I appreciate your optimism, but I am skeptical. Boomers and older in America (and materialist/college propagandized Gen X) have had such a good run, they fail to realize how different people really are, how they aren't all that nice when money and food isn't around, and this is utterly and obviously exacerbated by things like race and/or tribalism. Egalitarianism and modern propaganda was only held up by this economy we had, and now the plantation slaves are rebelling even more, because insecure and less competent people always do when the system is exposed and the money is running out. That's why we see power plays the way we do, but they are just stooges for the larger players who want the chaos and have the gated houses and bodyguards.

I don't see the uniting happening, but obviously I hope I'm wrong. You older people don't and can't see the UBI and surveillance state coming. I have seen it and have been paying close attention. Covid was phase 1 of this. This site, save for a handful of people, can't even discern this - at all. This is not a gift given to many people but I do expect a lot from people here since they are mostly very intelligent. The issue is a paradox though because intelligence is less important than spiritual gifts like discernment, which is why some really good analyzers on here can get quite a few things right, but then be totally blind on other issues.

I agree with you, Cool Breeze.
Good question. You can message me, as I don't want to go too far with this on the general topic.

The previous general has also commanded in Syria. The difference now is that one person will be in charge of all operations in Ukraine. Will it make a difference? I don't know. Russian problems exist up and down the line.

The missile strikes today are a difference in quantity. Russia has been making the same kind of strikes for months. I have my doubts they can keep it up since the stocks of guided weapons are diminishing. As to barrel bombs and chemical weapons, I'm not so sure. Ukraine has a real military with SAM systems. Russia is already reduced to toss bombing dumb bombs from a distance since the front lines are too well equipped with MANPADS and even then they're losing aircraft that can't be replaced. Using chemical weapons would probably open up the flood gates on materiel the West has been hesitant to send so far. I could see the US opening up the stockpiles of retired F-16s and M-1 tanks in such a case.

Russia has been ethnically cleansing areas by sending Ukrainians to concentration camps for months. The problem there is a the perennial Russian inability to manage any kind of operation of size.

This.

This is how the West will die. It's on life support now.

Hey, liberals, happy now?

Guess what. You're on the boat that you have spent the last 60 years kicking holes in.
