I received the following e-mail message to day from a high school
teacher. The school is open because it's a private school, not
run by bloated, abusive, greedy teachers unions, who care about
no one but themselves.
This message has caused me to change my opinion about snowflakes.> "I have been so goddamned busy. We've been on and off

In the past, I've criticized snowflakes because they're too stupid to
find China on a map, since they know nothing except what they've
learned in Women's Studies and Sociology classes.
Now I realize that I've been too kind. Snowflakes are so stupid that
they don't know anything at all. No matter what an unbelievable idiot
AOC is, and proves it every time she opens her mouth, I now realize
that she is brilliant compared to the rest of the snowflakes that
are running the country in the Biden administration.

America is screwed. So is Europe. (So is Canada, but that is such a minor country, it really doesn't count.)

Saudi Arabia isn't going to re-align with China unless there is regime change in the former country. While much of the Saudi people probably prefer China over the US, the monarchy prefers the US over China for one big reason: the petrodollar. That system is the key to Saudi Arabia being able to project its power to the degree that it currently does, and there is no way the monarchy would be willing to give that kind of power up. It is exactly for that reason why Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have actually been growing apart over the past several years, and Pakistan has been forging closer ties with Turkey.John wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 8:43 pm** 03-Feb-2021 World View: Turkey's alliances
The one thing that I would definitely add to this is that Saudi Arabia
is a close ally of Pakistan and China, and has been for some time.
What's new in the Memri report is that Turkey is now apparently firmly
within that group.
For a long time, I've debated which way Turkey was going to go. They
have a marriage of convenience with Russia in Syria and Libya,
although that pretty much fell apart during the Nagorno-Karabakh war.
Turkey is a member of Nato, which means that they're supposed to be a
US ally, but few people believe that any more. Turkey was having
trouble with China, because China is committing genocide and ethnic
cleansing of the Kazakhs and Uighurs, which are Turkic ethnic groups.
But China has used its usual policy of bribery and extortion to bring
Turkey around to its side. Even so, I still have to hedge a little
bit. For example, tensions are very high in Central Asia, and if
there's a war between, say, China and Kazakhstan, then Turkey may have
to come in on the side of its Turkic brothers.

As for Turkey, it currently is in no position to challenge China's ambitions in Central Asia. A much more immediate concern for the Turkish government would be the ambitions of Russia and Iran, who unlike China directly border Turkey and have the ability to invade it in the event of war.

This picture keeps me awake at night. Appointing Yellen is the most depressing thing Biden's done. Worse than Paulsen/Geithner's (Wall St insiders) GFC appointments to save Wall St from its own excesses at public expense.
Evolution's usually smarter than revolution, but our bloated, parasitic financial system is now so corrupted and intertwined with Washington that maybe it does need swept away. We don't have Capitalism any more. Just a weird crony-counterfeitcapital-ism. Sometimes, no matter how bad the drought, you just have to flush.

Is there anybody or anything quite as stupid as this AOC nit-wit?
After what she did to NYC. Good God almighty.
She needs to move to Venezuela, to be with all her slimey communist friends, where she can spew her phoney Americanized Spanish.

** 03-Feb-2021 World View: Alignments
but the people prefer China, and you conclude that Saudi Arabia is
going to align with the US. But it's the people, and not the monarchy
that will make that decision.
Turkey is the same. If there's a war in Central Asia, China vs
Kazakhstan, and the Turkish people become highly nationalistic, and
demand that their brother Kazakhs and Uighurs be defended, then that's
what will happen.
I don't know for sure how all of this will shake out, but I'm pretty
sure that the petrodollar will have nothing to do with it.
OK, here's the problem. You say the Saudi monarchy prefers the US,DaKardii wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 10:09 pm> Saudi Arabia isn't going to re-align with China unless there is

And after America collapses, what then? These people will fly away in their private jets? To where? What would really be awaiting them in New Zealand? Every Kiwi I know hates these people and blames foreigners for making real estate astronomically expensive and spreading wokedom. My money is on these people being greeted at their private airstrips by cannibals.
