** 26-Aug-2021 World View: Kabul airport bombing

Four US marines were killed, and three were wounded in the bombing at
the Kabul airport.

At least 30 people are confirmed dead, including women and children.

State-affiliated Chinese tabloid Global Times said Monday in a staff editorial that the chaos in Afghanistan should be a warning for what is in store for Taiwan should the US "abandon" it.

"The situation in Afghanistan suddenly saw a radical change after the country was abandoned by the US. And Washington just left despite the worsening situation in Kabul. Is this some kind of omen of Taiwan's future fate?" wrote the commentary on Global Times.

The newspaper said Taiwan is similar to Afghanistan in that it relies heavily on US protection. It warned that the US would not come to the island's aid should a military conflict happen, saying the island's defense "will collapse in hours."

Gee, with foreign policy like this, it's only a wonder we aren't defended Seattle's shoreline already.

Yeah, the Chinese and the Russians can smell blood in the water--our blood.

And sadly, John, who is typically correct and has great inclinations regarding so many things historical and political is in a sense a classic case also of abandoning christianity, the real glue of the country. You'll notice that most of the older generation did as well, which is why your points are true, Zoomer. They gave up what was good and virtuous, little by little, for greater materialism and lost their love for others, little by little. They replaced it with marxism and the covetousness that comes with it, all the while being fooled by the Saul Alinskys of the world that what they were doing was actually "good". And they are of the world, like all those Ukraine testimonies and tragically disgusting, lying Americans, who not coincidentally have something important in common with Mr. Alinsky.

AOC and the squad have enormous influence in the Democratic party, and
dictate many policies. They promise free everything, so they are
extremely popular.

The Marxist professors are Boomers whose attitudes were spawned during
the 1960s Awakening era antiwar protests.

you do. So when the Gen-Xers came to power in the early 2000s, they
created the financial crisis to screw their fathers' generation (the

Schiff is lucky to have you, and you will be useful to him as time
goes by.

As I've written in the past, the worst people in the world are the
leaders that order their armies to commit genocide, war crimes, ethnic
cleansing, atrocities, and crimes against humanity -- people like
Adolf Hitler, Mao Zedong, Pol Pot, Robert Mugabe, Josef Stalin, Xi
Jinping, and Bashar al-Assad. These people were very popular, and won
elections. They had to be popular in order to get away with their
horrific crimes.

The Democrats are not yet committing full-scale genocide, but they've
been conducting full-scale massacres of blacks in the last century
through the KKK and this century through street crime. Adam Schiff is
becoming a leader in making those massacres possible, as well as other
crimes.

Right behind them, the second-worst people, are people like you, the
people who are supporting the criminals -- the enablers, the excusers,
the deniers, the collaborators, the acolytes and the trolls -- the
people who defend the war criminals and make the actions of Hitler,
Mao, Stalin and al-Assad possible. These are the people that make
genocide and war crimes possible, and they are as much to blame as the
war criminals themselves.

The Democrat regime is becoming increasingly Fascist and Stalinist.
Adam Schiff will be looking for opportunities to attain leadership
positions in this growing Fascist organization, and he'll call on
people like you to help him. I assume that you've already signed up,
but if you haven't yet, you should do so.

** 27-Aug-2021 World View: ISIS-K fighters

One thing that came out of this morning's Pentagon briefing that
surprised me was the following:

After the Americans abandoned Bagram airbase, they left behind prisons
containing thousands of prisoners, including thousands of ISIS-K
fighters. Those ISIS-K fighters have all been freed, and are now
taking up the fight.

This really is a conspiracy theory. It's pretty clear that the
evacuation was bungled by stupidity and incompetence. To claim that
anyone planned it this way gives credit to people who are way too
stupid to have even thought of that.

The recent comments about how we need to re-intervene by people like McCarthy, Cotton, Crenshaw, Waltz, etc. only amplify the above concerns.

The GOP establishment may be just as in on this fiasco as the DNC is.

There are news reports that Taiwan and Japan are beginning formal talks on cooperative defense, it wouldn't surprise me if they have already been planning together and if other countries like Korea, Vietnam, and Australia have also been doing the same. As far as which generation is to blame we are all to blame even the silent generation, they gave us things like the UN and raised the boomers. For those who think we are not getting ready, a lot of people are going to get caught with their pants down but I believe the military will be ready. I live in Florida and for the last few years I have been reading reports of multiple new navy ships going threw " stress tests" off of the Florida coast from Jacksonville to as far south as Daytona. Also the disaster in Afghanistan is going to eliminate some of these woke generals and officers, there are already reports that general Miley will be resigning after the Afghan disaster clears.

** 27-Aug-2021 World View: Pineapple Express saves Afghan allies abandoned by Biden

This is an incredible story that is just beginning to emerge.

Beginning two days ago, a group of highly trained US military veterans
came together in Kabul, and have been secretly rescuing former Afghan
allies and their families trapped outside the airport in Kabul.

These Afghan allies have been essentially abandoned by president
Biden, and after August 31 would be left for dead, or would be
tortured or beaten or raped. Biden has ordered that no American
soldiers leave the airport to save these former Afghan allies.

So this group of special ops veterans, including retired Green Berets
and SEAL Team commanders, are like many Americans, furious that Biden
has so thoroughly botched the evacuation, and is simply willing to
abandon our former allies.

So these veterans have been locating these former Afghan allies in
Kabul, and helping them get through Taliban checkpoints, and inside
the airport perimeter so that they can be flown out before Tuesday.

They call themselves the "Pineapple Express" and use "pineapple" as a
password to recognize one another. The password has now been changed.

The veterans have already saved hundreds of Afghans. Their operation
will continue until Tuesday evening.

I don't normally post "feel good stories," but this one got to me.
