Re: Book Donations
A couple of people have recently donated to GoFundMe in order to get the book "How to Prepare for the Coming Storms".
When you donate, you will get a Thank You message through GoFundMe. This message will include a code. You need to email that code to me (navigator@comingstorms.com). This is how we verify that you made the donation.
If you did not get the Thank You message from GoFundMe, you can email me, and we can work together to get the verification.
But you MUST email me. GoFundMe does not provide us with your email address.
Note - if you just donated today, you will not yet have gotten the Thank You message. I am not yet at home to send it to you.

Re: Military Leadership
A couple of months ago, I posted at length regarding the deficient military abilities of senior leadership of the US military. What happened in Kabul is verification of what I wrote. If not, at a bare minimum, the heads of the military and the SecDef should have threatened to resign once they were told what plan was going to be adopted. Then they should have resigned rather than have actually participated in the execution of the most shameful display of incompetence by the US since Vietnam (and in numerous ways, what happened was far far worse).Trevor wrote: ↑Sat Sep 11, 2021 10:06 pmYou sure we're going to win this conflict, given who we've got in charge? The fiasco in Afghanistan makes apparent how incompetent our leaders are, with our Secretary of Defense more concerned about critical race theory than actually winning wars. Granted, Afghanistan wasn't likely to end well, but we did not have to leave thousands of civilians behind.
I'm reminded a little of what happened in the Soviet Union prior to Operation Barbarossa. Generals were chosen based on political loyalty, not competence. On a smaller scale, we're seeing the same thing happen. Kasserine Pass forced us to get our act together, but it only cost us around 3,000 people. Stalin's disaster cost the Soviets several million. Perhaps I'm being hyperbolic, but I sometimes suspect a lot of our strength exists only on paper.
When the war starts, we are going to see incompetence on a scale not seen in the US since the start of the US Civil War. We are talking McDowell/McLellin/Burnside/Halleck bad (not to mention the subordinate Corps commanders of the Army of the Potomac).
But the Chinese are not exactly led by RE Lee and Stonewall Jackson. In fact, their commanders are probably just as bad as ours, theirs also being political appointees and those that excel at office politics rather than strategy and tactics.
Unfortunately, we will suffer losses far in excess of a Kasserine Pass long before the situation is sorted out.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/ ... iddle-east“Afghanistan is an earthquake, a shattering, shattering earthquake, and this is going to stay with us for a very, very long time,” the official said on Monday. He added that the episode marked a complete break with the outdated Carter doctrine – a commitment that an oil-dependent US would use military force to defend its interests in the Gulf.

Why are the "guest" posts these days all so bad?Guest wrote: ↑Mon Sep 13, 2021 3:03 amAmerica has destroyed Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine. Now karma is destroying America. Soon Americans will be refugees, selling their bodies, begging for food, and pimping their children. When the Muslims are forced to do this, you don't care. See how you like it because it is about to happen to you.
There is no such thing as Karma. America lost good leaders after Eisenhower and became a degenerate nation, worsening every decade after him. The hand wringers were there guiding it, the whole way.
Europe had already become that. They have beaten even America in their degeneracy and spurning the truth for materialism and the lies of socialism/communism. But what must come to pass must, that's why the time is getting late for repentance.

Why is Saudi Arabia continuing to arm al-Qaeda even when the so-called "reformer prince" MBS is in power?

re "bin Laden's chief grievance against us"
I do NOT have any historical info or reports to support this but for quite some time my gut feeling was that bL was also chapped about 2 other things:
1) Westerners belittled him for his physical facial features and cultural differences
2) Westerners were getting laid by women who engaged in such because they LIKED it (the women were not always treated like a farm animal to be used) making for a really nice thing in life that bL did not have in his life.

re "America has destroyed Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine"
As for Palestine, many years ago I noticed that in a satellite image, "Palestine" was brown, ugly, non-prosperous looking. Israel was lush and developed.
Years later I came across a report where Christians in Gaza had a summer camp for kids that was fun, positive, growth. The kids went there because the muslim summer camp . . . sucked. So the muslims ransacked the Christian camp during the night. The kids did not have an alternative so they went back to where hate, jihad indoctrination was the program.
I suspect Palestine has "sucked" for a long time.
The Israelis are industrious. What do Palestinians do besides start fires, shoot off rockets, blow up buses etc. Do they develop fantastic software, develop medical procedures, do they BUILD anything of real value to humanity . . .
I understand Arabs in Israel "have it pretty good."

Simple answer: MBS is only one of many princes. He tortured other princes (his relatives) to get money out them. (But, no doubt, you know all about that...) MBS does not represent everyone in KSA. You don't understand the situation in Yemen either.
Of note: Being obnoxious does not make you right.
